According to the guide this game is worth $15 (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=9558). I suppose that mean that the box ands manual are worth $78 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8182731788&ssPageName=ADME:B:TB6:US:2)?

Follow your heart, not the guide.
Somebody really wants a complete bump and jump...
If the loose price is 15...100 doesn't sound so bad...as 15 is high for a loose game...

Hrm.
I paid 10 or 12 for bump n jump, at a DP member's game store....
Therefore, I declare this auction insane.
I also declare this auction the reason why I collect things loose.

Well, it doesn't *always* go for $100, just the last couple times. Believe me, I sold one complete a year or so back for about $30. Maybe times have changed dramatically, but personally, I'd take any auction involving jaygee112 with a grain of salt.
Of course, if anyone's looking for a complete copy, I have a spare on hand ... :)
Beautiful box design in the style of late-release Coleco Industries titles (like Choplifter!, Tarzan, or Antarctic Adventure) -- thankfully they dropped the lame arcade standup design that mark early-release titles. Pretty, but I don't believe it to be a $80, $90, or $100 item complete.

Here's the last copy (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4315&item=8178394160&rd=1) that was sold on ebay. It was in better condition too. It's high, but nice boxed games are getting harder to find.

Its all about the boxes. A loose one is easy to get for $15.

Would that be priced at $30 or $100? :)

Somewhere in between. $30 was low even for the time.
(Firmly believing that B'n'J CIB is not a $75+ item ... yet.)

i sold a complete one a couple years ago for 30$...
that price seems really high, i dont think that box is rare enough to dictate that price.
surprising

Currently, there's a "fast crowd" running amok on eBay that I think started off with a few notable overseas bidders right before the holidays. Bump'n'Jump and Tarzan have mushroomed in terms of bid prices for complete, boxed copies. Rarer titles have jumped, too -- Galaxian pushed past $100 (incl. shipping) once, then again hit about $80 (incl. shipping), but would likely have gone higher had sales not been restricted to the US alone.
A few years ago, it was an uphill battle for all but a select few complete CV titles to push past $60-$65 individually on a regular basis. Recently, that barrier isn't so much in effect. There's a bit of a pinch in terms of supply, and demand is relatively competitive these days.
But yes, that price for B'n'J is quite high.
