Perfect Dark I had a few days worth of time in it.

Fighters Megamix I played 102 hours according to the stats.

Other than a few RPGs, I usually play a game once and move on.

For me it's Phantasy Star Online....no contest. I'm playing it right now on my Dreamcast as I post this. I've got 5 years wrapped up into this game, split between DC and Cube versions.

If you don't count games that have no specific end, like PSO....then the game with an actual ending that has been played to completion the most would have to be either Top Gear Rally or Mario Kart 64, both on the N64.

That would have to be Ridge Racer. I can race that track in my sleep. Runner up would be Castlevania: SOTN.

I've played Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, Breath of Fire 2, Mega man 3, and Super Smash Bros. melee far, far more times than any one man should. And I'm not sick of a single one of them. :D

Hmmm... hard to say, but probably between KoF 2000 and Final Fantasy III (or VI if you prefer to call it that). Both great games and completely different, but I have gotten a hell of alot of game play out of them both.

You know, I'd probably have actually played more of my games if I didn't keep going back to my favorites. Anyways, among the most played are:

Pac-Man (arcade)
Ms. Pac-Man (arcade)
Galaga (arcade)
Super Mario Bros. (NES)
Zelda I and II (NES)
Mega Man 1-3 (NES)
Metroid (NES)
Tetris (arcade/Game Boy/NES/PC/Mac)
Tecmo Bowl (NES/Game Boy)
Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
Tecmo Super Bowl (Super NES)
Yars' Revenge (Atari 2600)
Asteroids (arcade/Atari 2600)
Berzerk (arcade/Atari 2600)
Final Fantasy (NES/PSOne/Game Boy Advance)

Ultimately, however, the games we pick are not only really, really good, but our favorites. Why else play a game over and over if you don't like it? ;)

Gonna go with PSO as well. I played on...

DC ver 1 online/off
DC ver 2 off
PC "ver 1" online/off - private/pirate server, and the official demo server, and the hacked entry into the demo server
PC "ver2" online/off - private/pirate server
PC BLUE BURST beta JP online for a bit
Xbox offline and live ep I&II (voicechat is great for PSO, too bad people abuse it)
GC ep I&II offline (slightly prettier version)

Jeebus I've played that game a lot...can't wait for PSU!

Hmmm....I would have to say Metal Gear Solid 2. I enjoyed messing around with the zoom and watching the cutscenes.

My most replayed game is Doom 2. Play it about once a week. Gotta love Doom. One of these days I wanna get a nice coop game going on Ultra Violence or Death Incarnate.

Lasersquad for the Commodore 64. Played that for months. I even reverse-enginered the map code to make my own level editor for the game. At the moment i'm still playing the game using the Frodo emulator on my symbian phone :)

Empire (PC)
Railroad Tycoon (PC)
Civilization (PC)
Seven Cities of Gold (PC)

I don't think I've ever really replayed a console game. Actuallly, that's not true - I played the hell out of Lifeforce and Jackal on the NES with my brother. Bubble Bobble too, now that I think of it.

NES (always co-op):
Lifeforce
Jackal
Bubble Bobble

Then there was the Intellivision:
Sea Battle
Space Battle
AD&D
and of course Astrosmash

SMS:
Wonderboy. But only part of the first level because there's this one jump that's so fricking wide that I can never make it.

I've played through pretty much all of the Marios and Zeldas multiple times. In fact, I completed Super Mario World for probably about the 10th time just this weekend.

For me it would be either be Super punch-out, Megaman X or Street Fighter 2 Turbo.
I can't get enough of any of them.

Phantasy Star II. Probably played through the entirety 8-10 times or so. Been holding off lately waiting for the PS Collection on PS2... which has been moved back YET AGAIN.

Also Bubble Bobble (the PS1 remake)

I'll stick that thing in the PS1 fairly often and blast through the game for fun :) Just wish the damn thing recorded the high scores in a save file... someday I WILL make it to level 40 without dying to hit the 2nd secret room hehe

From the old games I would say Life Force, one of my favourite games ever and also the one I've played the most. From the newer games I'd say it's Baldur's Gate - Dark Alliance I on the PS2. I've finished it several times. Mainly because I wanted to get the hidden charakter and also because I've accidently deledeted my saves.

Secret of Mana. "All" Lv 9 orbs, Lv.8.99 spells, Lv99 characters multiple times.

Meaning I thought I had all until recently. I guess you can get a Lv. 9 Sword orb somewhere. Supposedly. I think. Dunno.

i would say Castlevania SOTN for PSX. the best castlevania game ever made. i have spent hours on that game trying to collect every item in the game every time i play it.

I would also have to add NHL 93 for the genesis. i would play playoff after playoff adding up to 16 games ( if i won them all ) and use that as a full season and track all my stats on paper. Yeah i know i have no life :)

For me its a toss up....

I used to play the hell out of SMB 3 for the NES when I was younger , but PSO for the GC consumed my sould for many a moon a while back. Currently I have been addicted to Halo 2 since the day it came out.

Probably Phantasy Star Online has the most game play hours into it.

SMB 3 would be currently second.

Halo 2 will soon pass SMB3 on the time list and maybe even pass PSO X_x

Command and Conquer Red Alert would be most most replayed PC game.

And Cyberball 2072 would be most most played Arcade game.

Hands down, it has to be Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES (and subsequently the SNES). I can't even recall how many times I've played through a season--beat it with all of the teams a few times over by now. Not to mention al of the "quickie" games I've played over the years. Its still the first game that gets brought out when I have friends over.

Other than that, probably Super Mario World on SNES, Phantasy Star Online on Cube and DC, and most recently Halo 2.

Probably Perfect Dark. Before my old copy got stolen, I had around 4 days of playtime. When I bought my second copy, I've since put another 3 days on that.

Tetris - GB

Kenseiden for the Master system is probably my most re-played game. It's not my favorite game, nor do i find it particularly good, but i for some reason always find myself pulling it off the shelf and firing up the master system.

I would have to say megaman 2, or on the recent systems, Halo or Halo2--all these games rarely come out of the system they play on.

My most replayed game would have to be Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for the Xbox & PC. Ridge Racer Type 4 would be a close second followed by Castlevania: SOTN.

I think the amount of time im put into the Pokemon Gameboy games would beat out some peoples whole lists here.
At least 3000 hours (personal memory of how many times i went between 200-300 hours beforebeating them again) were put into just Red and Blue and a few hundred for yellow.
Then i have another few hundred(atleast) in Gold and Silver. And then there was Pokemon Trading Card Game. All in all i would venture to say Pokemon devoured 3-4 months of my life all on its own. Good thing i stopped. Even better that most of that time was played while in travel or against others.

Followed then by GoldenEye, Super Smash Bros. and Tetris(and its variations).

Then i was wicked into the Command and Conquer Series for awhile. There goes another few hundred hours built over late nights and rainy days and online matches.

The one i play most avidly/obsessively now is Halo 2.

I just got off another Tetris binge that lasted almost a month (was playing on the bus, in study, at 4 in the morning on NES against my cousin)
