I tried selling a couple of the official FC -> Nintendo converters on eBay, but they won't allow that because according to them "it's illegal to play foreign games on a US console". I never understood this policy since it's a legit NES product created by Nintendo.
Any thoughts on that policy? And, does anyone have any ideas about selling such a thing?

Do a search for completed ones that Ebay didnt shut down. To sell these you have to "dance around" that issue. If you word it correctly, they wont shut it down. As with most things that are illegal to sell on Ebay

You open the cart and sell it as the game it really is but say that it has the converter in it.
Just dont sell the converter only, you have to include the game as well.

Oooooh, I get it now. :) I tried to sell the converter alone before. I'll post the pic of the converter inside and state in the auction title something like "first edition", perhaps that will do the trick.

Well if you want to sell an NES Joint you'll need to find some NES Potheads. :P
What I'd do though, is take pictures of the inside of the cart, don't use the word "converter" and use the words "First Edition"
