That goes to a good cause too. People complain that the prices are too high on that site. But, sheesh, its an excellent company that helps many people in need

I've been there myself. Some decent finds, if you don't mind paying a bit more than normal. But as said above, it goes to a nice charity..

I browse this site about once every other week just to see what's up there. I think the auctions just go for way too much money. It's worse than ebay most of the time. The bid warring on there just scares me.

This site is kinda cool, I might sign up. I'm looking pretty hard but I don't see any Dreamcast stuff, its all N64.... :(

Is there anyway to snipe on shopgoodwill.com? I always forget to bid on the goodwill auctions.

I'd say go to the search feature on the homepage and type in "sega" or "dreamcast" as I have found a lot of dreamcast stuff on there. There are plenty of nintendo 8 bit through n64 games, lots of genesis/sms/dc games, and the atari selection is usually perty good. ENJOY!!!

Eh, I like the store better. All the underpaid social workers just give the stuff to me essentially.

Anyone ever been the Goodwill Electronic Stores? I was reading about them a year ago on the internet. There are a few in the US and all they carry are electronics. :-P

Yeah, the idea of 10 year old stereo's for the price of a brand new one in Target is really appealing.

Helping out the less fortunate or not, Goodwill is greedy.

Yeah, I dunno about the overall company, or other regional goodwills, but the one I worked for (central illinois) was pretty damn greedy. One time a nice big TV was donated and suddenly one of the bosses had a new nice big TV for free. They hired me, and the guy I worked with, and we were not in any way disabled. The guy i worked with ("manager" even though we were paid the same and worked the same job) encouraged me to steal things, and occasionally made me help him. The company doesn't seem to care too much about it either. Dunno, it might just be that regional goodwill but these aren't awesome charitable good people I'm talking about.

The auction site has totally ruined going to the goodwill stores here. Half of the video games seem to come from around here.

So, I never go to their stores anymore.

I dont think there is a Goodwill store near me. The only thing near me is one crappy pawn shop and a Salvation Army.
