I'm sure anyone who has an Geensis\MegaDrive knows what I'm talking about. Crappy controler ports.

Let's say you're playing Vectorman, when the controler stops working! You have to walk over to your system and wiggle the controler plug and got it working, but to only have it do the same thing!

Is there a way to fix this? ...Or am I going to have to continue fighting the controler

BTW, The problem is with my Genesis ver. 2

Shuffled over to Video Gaming (it was a toss-up between there and the technical area. Tails won.)

Um, Can we get back to my problem?

How do I fix the Genesis controler port so I don't have to wiggle it?

Clean the port, tips of the connectors are probably dirty.

Also, open it up. Check and see if you can rig somthing up, like taping a loose part (such as the connector) that way it won't come loose and have you fighting.

I've not experienced that problem before.

You can use electrical contact cleaner to clean that up. (WD40 will do in a pinch).
