I went to try and find a copy of this this evening, and I couldn't find a single one. According to GameStop it's delisted (meaning there aren't gonna be any more made again), and even used copies seemed sparse. Has anyone else had this experience with this game?

Hmmm...I saw all kinds of them when I worked at GameStop last year (we had them in overstock, even)...but now they seem so sparse. Oh well, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.
And let this be lesson to all of you...if you think you might buy a game back some day when you trade it in, just keep it. It's easier. :P

Bought the game on launch. I don't need it anymore since I imported the PS2 version.
What's a good price to set for the copy along with a PS2 > Xbox controller adapter?

I agree with #Reload becoming sparse, as I've seen only one or two copies floating around in the past few months.
Likewise what about Guilty Gear: Isuka? Granted the game royally sucks, but I haven't seen one around these parts for quite sometime.
Maybe its a regional thing?

I think all of the Guilty Gear games on PS2 are getting difficult to find.
I FINALLY got the first Guilty Gear X (PS2) last year and havent seen a single copy since then.
Ive been looking for any of the PS2 editions (yeah even Isuka) and cant locate ANY ANYWHERE

I see GGX2 everywhere. I remember seeing atleast 5 copies at Circuit City alone here where I live.

yeah, if you check in on your local gamestore regularyly (like once a week) youll run into a copy within a year, so its not that rare, but def not a game you are garenteed to see

I think the original X2 is the one thats becoming more rare... I havent seen it anywhere.

I don't know about GGX2 going up. The way I looks at it, in the Guilty Gear scene, the value of a copy reflects its status as a tournament game. Except the 1st one for PS1, that's different....just for being the first and overlooked.
I can't see it going up any higher cause everybody's switching to the latest one, which is #Reload with subtle character balance changes.
So regular XX/X2 is pretty much gonna be knocked down to the bottom of the totem pole. Look at Guilty Gear *X* when X2 first came out on PS2. You tried trading it in, you'd only get a dollar for it.

What is so bad about Isuka? I have both the PS2 games, and was thinking about getting it, but maybe I wont...

I've seen a lot of copies in stores. All pretty cheap too.
While I don't see em too much I do see them out there. But I'm not neccessarily looking either as I'm satisfied with my X (DC) and reloaded. They are there your just not searching the right area. Try E bay if your tired of searching.

I can't believe X2 is selling for that much. I see at least 2 used copies of it every time I go into a Gamerush store. I think I'm going to start buying them all up after seeing what they go for on Ebay now.
GG X is one that I *NEVER* see anywhere. I got my copy from the $5 Circuit City sale last year. Aside from that, I've only seen it in the wild twice since then.

The controls. The fact that you have to manually turn around with a button in Isuka will really mess up your style when you go back to XX/XX#r.

Are we talking about GGX2 Reload for Xbox? If so, that can be bought for less than $20 on ebay.
I don't know of a North American release of Reload for PS2?

Casually browsing for it, I haven't seen too many X2s in my area. Lots of Isukas floating aroudn though.

Yeah, #Reload for Xbox but BPH mentioned that the original X2 for PS2 is becoming more rare. That's the one I was referring to.
I thought the only difference between X2 #Reload for Xbox and X2 for PS2 was the online play. Am I wrong? I've never been a big GG player, so I have no idea.

There's a bunch of other changes, mostly in terms of the speed and priority of character moves. XX had some stupid stuff in it that #Reloaded corrected, and as a result the tourney scene moved to that one.

I see X2: #Reload everywhere for $19.99 new. I guess I should pick it up I was waiting to find it for $10-15, but its becoming hard to find/in demand I guess I will go ahead and pay full price *gasp*. I bought X2 used at BBV for around $12 but I have no damn instructions. Anyone have an extra copy?

My store's levels of X2#Reload (Xbox) have been dwindling. We sell our last copy, and usually get sent another the same week. It's been like that for two months now.
I could see it's decline in store presence, but there's a truckload on eBay and such.

This is not exactly RIGHT ON SUBJECT but I thought I would put this out there anyway ;)
I think that in the near future ALMOST ALL OF THE CURRENT-GEN 2-D FIGHTERS WILL BECOME FAR MORE RARE AND COLLECTIBLE than the majority of the 3-D fighters out there for a # of reasons.
First: 2-D fighters are largely only supported by a very Hardcore fan base many of wich have grown up playing them since the Streefighter2 era or have learned to appreciate the beauty and art of the Genre like the Guilty Gear series or Streetfighter3 and so on therefore many of the 2-D games that are actually released have a VERY SMALL print run now I guess Streetfighter Collection on PS2 and Xbox sold decent enough but that is the not the norm for current-gen 2-D fighters.
Second: and this is more of a rant WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT so called "gamestores" like GAMESTOP OR BABBAGES OR WHOEVER VALUE A GAME AT ? for trade in or cash? THEIR ALL IDIOTS LOL They sell shitty games for full price and rare games for like 6 bucks there freakin loss our gain man
You wait to see how much value a 3-D game that sold like 50million copies like GTA:SA has on Ebay or on the collectors guide has in a few years and then compare it to the rarity or value of games like the Guilty Gear series or the King of Fighters series :hmm:
places like Gamestop might sell a game like GGX2 for 10 or 20 bucks NOW and sell GTA:SA for full price and give "good" trade in value NOW (wooo a whole 15 bucks wow) but in a few short years the $10 still beautiful to look at and play GGX2 will be worth 50 times as much as a dated overstocked 3-D game like SA.
Im sure this post will fuel a few fires and flames but its the truth and Im sure many REAL gamers here are all fully aware of what might have been an obvious statement by me but all these posts about WELL I SAW THIS GAME AT GAMESTOP FOR ONLY 5 FREAKIN DOLLARS so its not rare or collectible or what the hell ever makes me sick O_O

All I know, is that the PS2 versions will be hard to find.
I can only find Isuka really, x2 and such are bitches to find lately.
