WTB / Cheap 56K Modem

I'm looking for a 56K modem with driver disk for my mom's computer, but I'm looking for something dirt cheap.

Thing is, I'm not even sure if it's the modem that needs replacing or if it's another problem and I hate to spend 12.00 for a modem on eBay when there's a good chance it isn't even the problem.

So, anyone got a spare one laying around they don't mind getting rid of? :hmm:

i might be able to unearth a few old ones... how dirt cheap we talkin' here? 5? 10? i have one, but not a huge surplus of them.

I've got kickin around with driver "CD" if thats ok...

Would be willin to trade for maybe a common cart or so.

I've got one that I bought a few months ago (don't ask). I know the driver disc is around somewhere, but if I can't find it I'm sure I can find them on the net somewhere.
