What happen to Quintet? Does this game studio disappear?
Thank you.

I'm fairly sure they bloomed into Tri-Ace or something, but don't quote me on that.

In other forum someone told me that: Quintet dissolved a few years before the Square-Enix merger. Enix lost most of their best developers, that's one of the reasons they merged.
Anyone know this for sure?

Umm, weren't they the people who made Terranigma and Robotrek for the SNES? Both lovely titles of course, especially Terranigma. I think they did some other things for Enix too.

They may have done those, but they're most well-known in the states for Actraiser 1 and 2, and Soul Blazer on the SNES. They also did some kind of board-game/RPG on the Saturn called Centi or Renti or something like that. Yuzo Koshiro was their principal songwriter and arranger for their music. I know he did a few tracks on Shenmue, but I don't know what the hell he's up to these days. I'd like to find out, though.

They were killed and disolved in bathtubs full of acid.

Maybe. I know it wasn't released in the U.S.
