Again...all this talk about Muncie is making me misty-eyed...

I lived there until 1984, and I go back about once every couple of months...I wish I still lived closer to that area...

Sadly, I don't know of any video game stores in Muncie other than the Gamestop at the mall either...

Wait, I just remembered someplace else...especially if you collect NES games, there is one booth at the Dalveille flea market (about halfway between Muncie and Anderson on 69...) that is usually golden. Now I won't ever find anything good there again...but hey, it's all for the good fight right??

Oh yeah...DELTA HIGH SCHOOL RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I wouldn't know, I left Royerton in 4th grade back in '84 :) )

Funny. I graduated from Wes-Del.

And...This thread now looks funny in the Buying and Selling forum :D

OK, I'll bring it back on topic a bit by saying this...

Last time I was at that flea market in Daleville, I left behind a lot of Color Dreams, AVE, and other "undesirable" carts :) I know how you like those ventrra...and if you buy a bunch, they are only $1.25 apiece...almost all are loose, and many have Lee's Video store rental stickers, but hey, for $1.25 I'm not complaining!!!

And if any of you guys happen to find other good places, don't forget to share the knowledge...cause even though I'm in Ohio, I'm a Hoosier at heart.

*Censored*!!! That's a bit out of my way. Hmmm.... It does bring up a couple of questions: 1) Where in Daleville? Maybe (and that's a big maybe) I can convince someone to take me out that way sometime. 2) Er...How big of a bunch are we talking about here?
The rental stickers and being loose are irrelivant to me. :D

http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?BFCat=&Pyt=Tmap&newFL=Use+Address+Below&addr=&csz=Daleville%2C+IN&Country=us&Get%A0Map=Get+Map

1. OK, the flea market is just south of 32, right off of 69 (If you are going south on 69, it's on your right...) On this map, the flea maket would be roughly where the "d" in "Chesterfield" would be :) I hope that helps, I suck hard at giving diections...you should have seen the directions I was going to give you...you'd never find it.

2. I was unable to get to that area on the Saturday before XMas (last time I was in Muncie), because I had to go to the mall and get some stuff at the Garfield store...so I don't know how the stock at that one booth is.

3. There were about 10 Color Dreams carts, 3 or 4 AVEs, and other assorted oddities...I'm not going to say that you will find a holy grail, but I have been there 3 times in the past 4 months, and every time I walk away with 16-20 carts!!! They seem to restock often, and the selection is pretty good. Last time I was there (November) I got a Dusty Diamond All-Star Softball, Mega Man, Mega Man 3 and 13 other carts for $20!!! Good luck, if you need any more help, just let me know!! I'm going to try and get over to that area again either this Saturday, or next...these 3 hour car rides each way for quick 1 day trips are starting to wear on me...

That's OK :-D I'm not the one who'd be driving there, anyway. I haven't been able to drive for 5 years or so. And...not only am I poor at giving directions, but I'm terrible in general when it comes to them  I used to get lost in my high school and it only consisted of 3 hallways: two running parallel to each other and the other going across their end.

I'll try runnig these directions past the people who can drive around here and see what they make of them.

Thank you.

I'm just hoping I've told you both the right exit (remember I'm in Ohio, and I tend to give bad directions...) Just know that if you hit Anderson, you went TOO FAR!!! :)

Can't miss that big black barn though...

Just don't clear it out ok?? :D

I wouldn't worry about to many mistakes in your directions to this flea market do to the fact that you can ask just about anyone in Muncie and the surrounding areas and they can tell you as many different ways to get there as the number of people you ask. the flea market wont be that hard to find if you can get to Muncie at all. The only problem was for a long while the construction made getting in the drive a big problem but when I went to Indy yesterday that was finished.
