Hi I am posting this message in the hope that someone out there can help me identify the list of Atari 2600 games below. Some have been already identified but any and all help would be gratefully accepted as I came across these games on various web sites and all that was mentioned was the name and the game company (which in many cases appeared to be wrong). These are the last Atari games that I have yet to add to my collection and so it would be good to know exactly what I am looking for. Hope someone can help. :)

Use the online guide:

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/listing.cmf

Not all of them are in there, but some are. Here's one that I found that was in there.

C.P. Command
Atari 2600
Non-U.S. Game Releases - Germany
Publisher: Son Son

Scarcity: 7
Price: $25
(L)oose or (C)omplete: L

Yes I found the game on this site but there is no picture or information available about it. I need to know what game it was copied from as with all the others listed.

I'd like to know as well!

I can identify the pirates and clones that I own, but there are so damn many of 'em. I don't own any of the games on your list above. I'll forward this to a few of the Euro and import-savvy 2600 guys to see if they can lend an assist here.

5. Wilma Wanderer by ITT Family Games
7. Go Go Home Monster by Home Vision 1983
9. Cosmic War by Home Vision
11. IQ 180 by Unknown Manufacturer (Game description would be really helpful if anyone has a copy of it)
14. Topsy by Home Vision
15. Wall Break by Home Vision
16. War 2000 by Home Vision
17. World?Trap? by Home Vision

These may be originals -- and/or possibly unreleased (Homevision, I'm looking at you!) -- there may be copies of them by others though.

I want to say IQ 180 is either by Sancho, or maybe Homevision as well, but am not sure.

12. Meteoric Shower by BitCorp

Sure this isn't a Colecovision one? If not though, it's probably a copy (or original) of the ITT/Homevision Meteor Attack (or whatever the name is) game.

18. Pogo Man by Computer Magic

This is NR as far as I know.

2. Super Bird by Rentacom

I THINK it's Phoenix, but am really not sure.

3. Treasure Island by Zellers

Argh, I should know this one for sure but don't!

21. Jow by Unknown Manufacturer

I'm pretty sure this is actually Jawbreaker.

29. Burper by Fantastic Game

My guess would be Fast Food.

35. Mr Gobbler by Cooper Black

Probably Fast Food or Jawbreaker, I THINK the latter.

Most of the rest I have either no idea, or haven't even heard of.

Who are you by the way? I find it hard to believe that you have everything else in your collection... All the European, Brazilian and far eastern pirates? Really?

Just wanted to say thank you for all the help I recieved. If anyone possesses any more information about the listed games please answer this forum or at the very least alert digital press to what they are. That way other collectors like myself know what to look for. In answer to Slapdash, yes I do own virtually all the games out there, some 2500 now and the ones listed are the ones that I have yet to get a copy of. Once again thank you for all the help. 8-)

Atariage has its uses but virtually all the games I posted on the list they failed to have any details of. The games were identified through hard work, perserverance and Atari collecotrs from around the world who were willing to share their information with me.

Chances are no! They are mainly pirates of original titles, a lot of them Taiwan ROC, others such as Home Vision being from Europe. I just thought that seeing that DP rarity guide is a little thin in places on identifying a game I would update the list to help other people ;)

Oh, Ok...some of those rares sounded like some items he had, that I had not heard of elsewhere, iirc....it's been a few years since I've seen him. Memory is really fuzzy. Your handle sounded like him too.
