I have two of these units for trade, both work fine.

From information gathered on the DP forums, these units look to be sent from Nintendo in 1998 to select big box retailers like Wal-Mart. Upon plugging in, the TV automatically starts to play any VCD in the player and loops it until the unit is turned off.

The controls on the front are disabled so customers could not mess with the unit, take the CD or whatever. I have been told that there is a remote control that controls the unit but I do not have it. There are inputs on the back for coaxil input as well as RCA jacks. The controls on the side of the unit control volume and work fine.

Beware that these units are rather heavy and may cost a little bit to mail. I can provide a WMF video file of the unit playing a VCD along with the unique serial number on the bottom of the unit.

This is a cool little collectable for Nintendo freaks (I am keeping one for myself) and something you do not see very often.

E-Mail me if you are interested, I am looking for PS2 crap, Role-Playing crap or whatever you want to offer. I promised the friend who gave them to me I would not sell them so trades only.

Oh, sorry to be vague about what I want. I am selling things on Ebay to (hopefully) buy a PS2 at some point so anything PS2 related or just something cool for my collection I guess.

I am a registered EBay user with 270+ feedback so not problems there. As a matter of fact browse for seller name: jennymac34 for a lot of Nintendo stuff I am allowed to sell on Ebay. Never hurts to plug that.

Anyways, thanks for reading the post.

Hey thanks, they do look good don't they? They way about 18 pounds, that'd be a car payment to mail to the UK, lol.

Yes indeed one unit is gone. I have a ton of messages and I am slowly working my way through them. Slowly, lol.

Now that the PS2 is all set all I need is something to play on it and save my games to, lol.

Ok, thanks to eveyone for e-mailing me about the systems, it has caught me off guard on how many people actually were interested. I got my PS2 system for one of them and now I need games for this bad boy.

Rather then e-mail everyone back who inquired I figure this will be much easier and quicker for all involved. I have ZERO games for the system, nadda, three demo CDs to my name.

The person who offers the most PS2 non-sport titles by Saturday at midnight will get the TV/VCD combo. Hell, I am not picky - as long as they are not sports titles then they will be new to me - this is a good chance to unload some of those crappy 1st gen titles nobody is interested in, lol.

About the only other things of interest to me are the BB adaptor and a memory card, otherwise make me an offer of PS2 goodness!
