I'm not too disappointed. I mean really, most of us expected an identical clone to Madden 05, at least they're making an attempt to continue to try to keep the series innovative.

Although I certainly have beef with how the game looks. It's been regressing since 2004, they're nearly back to first gen PS2 graphics.

Well I will have to buy the new Madden just so I get to play my NE Patriots as Super Bowl Champs.

ESPN nfl 2k5 is the only football game for me. don't care too much for madden, i never have.

I'm hopefull for this year's game. They have done some wonderfull progress in improving the defense over the last couple of years. Now the offense is getting the update that it needs. The new QB features sound cool and I hope the passing game gets better, as it's the one weak part of the game still.

In any case, it looks like EA is going to try their hardest to make sure their football game is worth being the only one published.

Those new passing rules sound like it might level the playing field a bit. My friend knows much more about football than I do, but I usually win when we play Madden simply due to the fact that I am the master of the long bomb. What;s worse is, I usually do it while playing the Bears.
