Just scanning through the backlog of threads here, noticed a few regarding V64 units.
I got one a few years back, though it isn't as good as the ones around now.
Firstly, the item is in mint condition. Secondly, it didn't come in any box, just some crappy plastic which I threw away. I didn't keep any instructions. The unit is red, called the "Doctor V64 jr". It is from Bung, as I'm sure you are all aware.
It is a 256mbit version. The newer ones are green and 512, I believe. So yes, Resident Evil 2 isn't going to be running on this baby.
The back of it has a six battery compartment, and it always hurts my fingers to pull the lid off. Below this is port for the printer cable. Below that is the slot for a cartridge which it requires. You've got your standard on/off switch, it draws power from the N64, it has a socket for a power supply but none came with the package. Though, if you were willing to try, I'm sure any old thing might work with it. Then again, maybe not.
So, I'm not looking to sell it (unless the price surprises me), but yeah, I'm curious how much it might be worth. Any ideas, guys?
