I love it how " I have no intrest" isn't an option. Cause every single person out there who likesgames wants to. I can't go though..... don't own a company. There are no other ways of getting passes, correct?

Unfortunately to attend you have to be involved in the industry somehow or be in the press... Its kind of strict about entry.. but I do know some previous attendies that.. well "fudged" some documents and enjoyed 3 days of E3.

I'm there :) Got a decent price on airline tickets and am staying with a friend of mine who lives less than a mile from the convention center, so I don't have to worry about lodging OR a car.

Achi & I are there.

Marty, sadly, even if you did have creds, you still would be too young. :(

I think anyone who cons their way into E3 should be forced to play only 20+ year old video games, while everyone else enjoys the ...

Does this mean I could go no further than the DP/History of Gaming pavilion?

I am so there. LOL Except of course that I won't be there - but if I was, I would loiter around DP Island all day.

Are you saying that because you can't play the complicated "games of tommorow"?! LOL

i wish i could be there...but, the whole not being involved in the industry or press kinda stops that for me, unless being involved with the DP Wire or DP Guide counts...but, even if it did, i still wouldnt be able to go....oh well...

everyone who is lucky enough to go....enjoy....and remember to gather my box of promo stuff to send to me ;)

Although I COULD get in relating to admissions, financially, I can't really afford to go. So, while I'd really love to be there, I will be at home instead.

I'll be there again.

Does anyone know if DP will be involved in anything there this year?

Yes, it's official... we're doing the "History of Videogames" exhibit there again this year. I'll have details in another thread sometime this weekend.

I'm in. Got my pass all secured and buying my plane ticket Monday. Somebody keep me posted on the get togethers. I can't wait to finally meet everyone. And hopefully after the week is over I'll still be able to remember everyone. :)

well, unless i can hitchhike across the country, fudge all the proper documents, and pass myself off as a REALLY short 18-year-old, i'll have to wait 4.5 more years.

I'm not going, but a friend is interviewing with EA there. What freebies should I ask him to snag for me?
