In the mood for some retro? For anyone who remembers Atari back in the day, or even for anyone who doesn't but would like to, I've got a nice retro bundle up for grabs. I'm a collector, but as a collector I invariably end up buying lots that contain a lot of stuff I don't need. Every now and then I'll bundle up a bunch of cool games with a system and offer them up to whomever might want to kick back and relive the glory days of video games. Well, it's that time again, so here's what you'll get:

1. A ready-to-play Atari 2600 system! Includes a 4-switch "woody" model (the one with the woodgrain front and difficulty switches in the rear), two joystcks, an AC adapter, and an RCA-to-F Type connector -- this plugs on to the end of the RF cable attached to the 2600 and from there plugs directly on to your coaxial cable connector on the back of the TV. Aside from allowing you to hook this up to any modern television, it also provides a much clearer picture than the old-school RF modulators did. (Remember those? The ones with the two prongs you had to screw into the back of the set?)

Of course, a system isn't much good without any games to enjoy on it, so I'm including 25 great classics from back in the day! Check it out:

Activision - Crackpots: Drop flower pots from the top of a building to prevent them from getting in the windows.
Activision - Decathlon: Gear up your sticks and get ready for some olympic action!
Activision - Enduro: Race through night and day, snow and fog.
Activision - Frostbite: Hop around the ice floes to build your igloo before you freeze.
Activision - Grand Prix (Standard Label): Race to the finish as quickly as possible.
Activision - Laser Blast: Defeat wave after wave of ground-based laser cannons with your UFO.
Activision - Megamania: Frantic space action as you battle endless waves of descending aliens.
Activision - Pitfall!: The Activision classic - navigate the perils of the jungle for fun and profit.
Activision - Sky Jinks: Fly a slalom course in a biplane to get the best time.
Activision - Tennis: As the name suggests, a good game of Tennis.
Atari - Asteroids (Picture Label): One of many arcade classics.
Atari - Berzerk (Picture Label): Another...
Atari - Centipede (Silver Label): And another...
Atari - Combat (Text Label): The first and original two-player tank battle game.
Atari - Defender (Picture Label): Another arcade classic...
Atari - Dig Dug (Silver Label): And yet another...
Atari - Donkey Kong (Red Label): ...and another...
Atari - Galaxian (Silver Label): ...yes, another...
Atari - Haunted House (Picture Label): Navigate a haunted house to find the talisman. Don't let your candle blow out!
Atari - Joust (Silver Label): Yet another arcade classic...
Atari - Jungle Hunt (Silver Label): And another...
Atari - Kangaroo (Silver Label): ...still another...
Atari - Missile Command (Picture Label): ...and yes, another...
Atari - Phoenix (Silver Label): ...still another!

How does that grab you? How about getting it all for $50? Sound good?

But what about those of you who just want more?

It just so happens I have other games loafing about in my duplicate box doing not much of anything, so how about we work it like this:

Add any 10 games to the above bundle for $15.

Everything has been cleaned and tested working. Condition of cartridge labels varies from excellent to moderately fair -- these are as much as 28 years old after all. I will guarantee against DOA, but due to the nature of old electronics I can offer no warranties. (Ataris are notoriously robust however, so I wouldn't worry. I own quite a few myself. :-))

Guess I should have updated this -- the bundle isn't available any more, but there's still plenty in my For Sale (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57408) thread.
