Help to identfy a Genesis game?

(I know there's a Roman II on the front label, but is that title supposed to be "Thunderbolt 2" or "Thunderbolt Z"?)

I bought it from a local shop cheap. I was drawn to it because of the poor label art. In my experience poorly drawn label art indicates either rare, import, or bootleg (or "rare import bootleg", which doesn't mean much). Does anybody know which category this one will fall into?

Looks like an Asian bootleg to me.

The translation is typically crappy, but seems to confirm it's an unlicensed Asian game.

That's really cool, where'd you find it? Defenitely looks like some kind of bootleg to me.

Found it at a local store I visit once a week. Last Thursday they suddenly had a couple dozen Megadrive titles dumped into the boxes with the common Genesis carts. This was a loose one that looked interesting for $4. I really don't know much about Megadrive titles so I figured I'd take a chance on this oddball and see if it was worthwhile. Meh. Maybe next time I'll find some gold.

Agreed -- looks a lot like some early MD efforts such as Verytex or Dangerous Seed. Though I might be thinking that because I was playing those today. :/

I just checked some ROM lists, and it doesn't appear to be dumped...someone might want to do that sometime. :)
