I just got one of these beauties but the problem is ebay does not have many games with boxes for the Super Famicom. Does anybody know of any other good sites with a large selection of Super Famicom games? (preferably for cheap) Also does anyone know where there is a complete list of games released only for the Super Famicom? I would like to try not to get many games that came out for the SNES because I want all of those games. Erigidot.

I've bought SFC games from Yamatoku (http://www.yamatoku.jp/game) before...their shipping is reasonably cheap and you get photos of the actual item.

If you're looking to build a big collection your best bet would be to buy lots on Yahoo Japan, have them shipped over (companies like AnimeChaos can do this for you), and resell the dupes and games you don't want.

Complete non-US list? Good luck. Not too many games had name changes (I'm looking at YOU, Jaleco), definitely not to the same extent at the FC/NES, but if you're really worried you could just do a bit of research. Most games have AKAs in the DB here. I know MD games at least specifically say what was released where...

Oh yeah, one more thing. Enjoy that SFC. :D

A complete list of all Japanese exclusives... it wouldn't be hard to compile such a list if you look at all the serial codes. However, I don't think any list is complete at this point.

I've got the full list of SFC games. Whether they were SFC exclusives or not, I do not know. :( If you want, I can make a tweak to a page on my site which will output the whole list. You can then copy and paste.

16-bit (Mad gear) has boxed SFC stuff. And he's one of my top sources for imports.

I, for one, would really appreciate that! :D I've been looking for a complete list of SFC releases everywhere! I'm not worried about exclusives, just everything.

Has eBay really changed that much? I haven't bought any Super Famicom games in awhile (since I still haven't even played through most of the ones I got), but back in the day I'd do searches on eBay for "Super Famicom" and "SFC" all the time. I'd look at just about everything, and the vast majority of stuff would be complete. I don't even bother with loose SFC games. So many gamers in Japan keep all the packaging (ironic, considering they're the ones with hardly any living space) that it's really easy and affordable to get everything complete.

If you want boxed SFC games and don't want to bother using Ebay, then maybe you sould try asking in multible forums and game trading sites. That's what I did, and now i'm up to 13 complete and mint SFC games.

SUper Famicom games have a tendancy to be mint afterall since they are from Japan, most stuff for some odd reason just happens to be mint, nevermind the boxes got plastic inner pieces that hold the boxed in place but again for some reaso n stuff from there tends to remain mint if not for gettign crushed in the mail transit.

I beg to differ (if you're refering to the whole package). I've gone through boxes of definitely nowhere close to mint SFC games... in Japan of all places. Also worth mentioning that a large percent of SFC games still around are naked.

Done.

Warning though, I didn't fully translate the list. There's like 20-30 SFC games that I couldn't figure out how to pronounce (or was just too lazy to, as theyr'e mainly mahjong games). This is the list I used for the Yahoo Japan Auction assistant, so I only got it to useable. Seems I forgot to replace the katakana "su-pa-" with the word "super" for some games. :/

Hint: If you want to see full lists of other systems, play around w/ the system variable in the URL. You can get a list of avaialble systems from the drop down in the Yahoo Japan auction assistant main page. Got the release date and price for ya there as well!

Enjoy

i wouldn't say they're always in mint shape but they tend to be in better condition than most of the stuff i find here.

Well there are exceptions, of course it does appear easier to find a complete mint Super Famicom game than waiting for that one auction for a SNES game that comes around only every so often where everything is practically perfect and yet the price is magnanamous. Nice strawberry by the way.

and to this freakin terd, it just so happens that one of my best friend's girlfriends has a speech impediment which causes her to say "BERCH" whenever her mouth opens. Take that into consideration next time.

Not sure if you followed my sig or not. I don't sell (other than a handful of things in the forum) but is not a bad reference, if I do say so myself.
