Favorite Star Control II Race

So what's your favorite Alien race from Star Control II?

I'm partial to the Spathi, but the Melnorme have a very interesting place in the series. The Slylandro are a very interesting concept and the Orz are just plain creepy.

I love the Spathi. I can't think of the Melnorme without my brain automatically translating into "Mel Torme".

Well, it's time for my yearly rediving into this unbelivable game so I figured I'd rise this from the grave. I think it'll need a slight nudge over to classic computing.

Oh, and for those of you who haven't played it yet (for shame), please get it HERE (http://sc2.sourceforge.net/).

It's totally legal and it's the 100% authentic game. You can even get the speech packs which are a near must to hear the Spathi flip out.

After playing the freeware SC2: The Ur-Quan Masters, I must say that I totally love this game and... well, almost all of the races therein. I'm casting my own personal vote for the Orz, however. What can I say, I love their screwed-up language. I can't help but love a race that deliberately has Engrish as a major quirk. Plus, their ships are totally ace with the ability to send out marines to board enemy ships and kill the crew within. That's just badass. :2gunfire:

But I love 'em all... 'cept for the Mycons. They can plug the freaking Juffo-Wup up whatever orifice qualifies as their anus. :fist:

EDIT: WHAT THE HELL?!? Somehow, I already voted on this poll! And I haven't even played the game back then! Erm... umm... hmmmmm... maybe my vote was the other one for the Spathi. Back before I knew much about the game, I did at least know they were lovably cowardly eyeballs who were as goofy as they were adorable. Maybe that explains it... oh, damn. What are the odds, eh? :?
