So, is this PSP keyboard real?

The one that's been shown for months. All clear and shiny looking. A hell of a lot nicer looking than the Logitech one. But is it real?

If it is real, how does it work? Or is it just a prototype concept? Because I'm curious how it works being clear and all. Technology is awesome, but this one has me wondering..

its real alright, they had it displayed with the psp at the last e3. though, im not actually sure if they are gonna release it or not. i sure hope so.

If they really want it to be all high-tech looking and annoying to use, why not just install one of those projected LED ones that track your hand movements or whatever? I'm not trying to psp hate here really but that thing looks uncomfortable, way too small, in a horrible position, and...i also wonder if it even works from looking at it.

i was just gonna say the same thing....it should plug in the usb and extend around to the bottom of the system....not at the top

i do love the way this one looks though....very futuristic

The Logitech one is coming out in May apparently and goes under the screen instead. I agree it should be down there. Googling turned up a forum saying that the clear one was just a prototype. I can see if they do release it, they might fix it to be below. Who knows. As soon as a web browser that's easy to get to comes out, I'll get whatever keyboard is cheapest. Unless I really really want the clear one. It's so cool looking!!!!

Seriously, how would it work? I guess technology is to that point where it can be practically transparent but tsill have touch sensing, I mean PDA's do it. It's probably the same technology. Still, how much would it cost?

What I would really like to see is a Digital Camera add-on that could take at least 2-3MP images and save them on the card. I'd buy it as I need a camera, but if I could use my PSP (And what better way to preview the photo you just took than with the PSP's huge ass screen?) to take them, I'd love it! (I saw a camera accessory, but was it a Digital Camera or a sort of "EyeToy/Web Cam" type?

I can't wait for all the really cool PSP accessories to hit.

I wouldn't care if it was on top if I'm buying a PSP. It looks like your meant pretty much to use one hand to do the typing anyway and not two so "ARMS" wouldn't be in t he way otherwise you wouldn't be holding it, it would be layg just flat anyhow.

It looks slick and useless. Seriously -- that looks smaller than my Atari Portfolio's keyboard. Without actual buttons to push, chances are you'll get wrong registers a lot, and with the keyboard being above the screen, you won't even notice it.

Idaknow. I'd rather it be a little less Apple looking and more functional. Two mouse buttons, please.

i see you have an early prototype of the above the screen keyboard....looks like its working out pretty good for you...ill go preorder mine now
