Better as far as what? Gameplay? Earnings on location? Maintenance? IMO, Daytona is better gameplay by far than GT, but I'd have to say that Sega GT earns as much or more than Daytona. Also, Daytona parts are very hard to find now, so unless you are willing/capable to manufature your own replacement parts, or pay someone to do it for you, beware!. Sega G/T uses some of the same parts as Daytona, but overall parts are more readily available. Monitors in both games suck, as they are the classic Sega Nanao monitors (pain in the rear to work on). Also, both games are old now, so pic. tubes will have burn on, and also colors will not be as juicy as when it was new. You might also run into a bad picture tube at this point. If you can find a clean machine (either one is tought to find, being as they still make money), and you are using it for home, you should be ok. One problem with both machines is the fact that the PCB's are mounted under the seats, so before you buy, open them both up, and make sure no one has spilled a drink in there or anything (as this could cause problems for you later on). Other than that, I don't ever recall seeing a Daytona or G/T with a broken board, ever. So they typically run pretty well. I *THINK*, if you ever had a problem w/Daytona, Super G/T or Virtua Cop 2 (I beleive) uses the same base PCB, so you could mix/match and possibly fix yours. How's that for advice? LOL
