*edit*

Bumping for an update after a solid week worth of work. I added an entirely new section, put better descriptions with each pic, and titled so you can more easily tell where this stuff is.

Some of the new pics may not gel with older ones simply because there wasn't enough new to warrant retaking them.

Also, is there a way to arrange the pics as you want? I'd to have the room pics in order by where the stuff is. As it stands, it's jumbled pretty poorly. I see a few options, but none that offer manual choices.

On topic.... damn! I should have let you know before I threw out most of my game magazines a few weeks ago.

Looking good!

Neat magazine racks :) Though your choice of magazine isn't quite so neat.

Looks great, Matt! I really dig those magazine racks. I could use something like that for my classic mags and 'zines. Did you buy these somewhere or were they a "find"?

Nice collection of mags. Did you buy all those magazines new? Or did you buy them pre-read?

Kerjov: Most of the early EGM, Game Players, Gamefans, and GamePros were bought when I was younger. I think spent more on those than games. Never got over that obsession. Still subscribe to anything active.

Thanks Felix!

DP: Got those at a video store I worked at. They were going to throw them out. We had four but I could only fit three into the room. Didn't pay anything. The fourth I got to smash with a hammer after I didn't sell it at a garage sale. That was fun. :D

Bump as nine new pics have been added. These new shots are of the third room of the house I have (magazines and yellow shelving room are seperate). This is my upstairs bedroom.

Where did you get those GB game holders? I've been looking for some kind of a storage solution for my slowly growing collection.. also, awesome magazine collection.. I've been working on my own for years now as well.

Isn't it great to pick up an older issue, flip through it, and be able to say "I've got that" to every review, ad and preview in the whole thing? :D

More added today since most of the room needed to be moved around because of a new monster entertainment center. A new digital camera means cleaner pics too. Keep clicking until the pics are huge instead of the crappy resolution I had before!

Where did you get those GB game holders?

Those are Nyko "Deluxe Care Cases." Got them on eBay for about $3 a piece and couldn't believe how much they held when I got them. I bought four more and haven't seen them since. Wish I bought all they had. Neo Geo Pocket, GBA, and GB games fit. GBA titles do require a little squeezing though.

It's always fun to click on pics and go "Hey! I have that" when it's some random something or other. This time it was the FFXI mouse pad.

Yeah, you gots lots more stuff. But I picked that one to comment on. :)

Updated today. Actually took every action figure off the shelves and cleaned them. I can only wish someone invents some anti-dusting machine soon so I don't have to do that again... ever. Also, all mags are in order by date. Yeah, I need a life.

Very nice. I like how you give game magazines the respect they deserve, since a lot of collectors just view them as garbage or don't show any pride in their magazine collections. I don't own a ton of video game magazines myself, but my huge box of old Nintendo Power issues is one of my favorite parts of my collection. I only wish I had those official magazine holders they sold in their catalog back in the day.
