I was just in my parent's attic and i found a boxed Texas Instruments Home Computer, Ti-99/4A, that still works and the following games all with boxes and manuals:
M*A*S*H
Reading Rally
Alpiner
The Attack
Adventure
Star Trek (Strategic Operations Simulator) Made by Sega
Hustle
Jawbreaker II
Parsec
Microsurgeon
Beginning Grammer
So how about you? What wonderous treasures are wainting to be plundered for your attic or basement?

When I really started getting into collecting a few years back I knew I had some old magazines in the attic.
So I went up there to get those and found Lufia for SNES along with some random items (Wireless reciever for NES, Dust Covers, Super Gameboy box)
It was nice to know I hadn't gotten rid of every last game :D

About half my gaming collection at the moment LOL
(as there's just not enough room downstairs for it all)

I mined my Grandmother's attic the other day, and unearthed my first Genesis. It'd been lost for years. Also found a bunch of loose SNES games and boxed Genesis sports stuff. Nothing remarkable (though the Genny was a very pleasant surprise), but it's always nice to find stuff you didn't know you still had.

I've been at my current address for about 4-1/2 years now, and have never been in the attic. (It actually has two, one for each of the upper and lower halves of the backsplit.) I have a deep-seeded fear of what may be lurking up there.
But I had never considered the possibility that there could be some gaming goodness squirrelled up there by the previous owners and long-forgotten. They did have a couple of sons around the 18-22 age range. Maybe I should don my trusty spelunking gear, arm myself with whatever pest repellent I can find and delve into the gloom to see what I might uncover.

Houses in New Mexico are generally built with neither basements nor attics. The former owing to the ground being too rocky to dig out, the latter owing to the fact that the minimal population means there's usually enough space to add-on horizontally all you want.
This being said, the local gaming goods tend to be stored in closets and garages. Whenever I drive through the middle to older neighborhoods my imagination runs absolutely wild sometimes envisioning how many console collections I'm passing by, and when will they have a garage sale or take that stuff to the thrift? Obsessive? You bethca...

In my Attic Lurks a Action Max...and a Coleco ADAM (Minus the Printer, so it's useless)...
I have Nightmares at night of both of them BURSTING through the wall and trying to DEVOUR MY SOUL!

My old toaster Gameboy. Only now it looks like it has been in the toaster. You know, white plastic that has been in the attic/oxygenated environment for too long that it turns what I call a lovely shade of :
Stormtrooper Action Figure WhiteŽ (read: yellow)
you geeks know what I'm talkin' bout'

Yeah I found a few things in my attic. In fact, Last month I had to throw away alot of crap in my attic because it was starting to leak into my room where all my games are for some reason. @_@ However I was able to find a mint Super Advantage box and a couple old SNES manuals from the ordeal, so I guess one good thing came out of it. Anyways, I Don't really need them or anything, so if anyone interested in a Super Metroid or Super Mario World manual PM me.

I remember once when i found a NES box (the action set) and a SNES box. I used those as my "cases" until my mom threw them out  !!! years later i found a Snes box being thrown out and i grabbed it.

I'm almost 100% positive in my attic lurks about 4 dozen games, all my Game Boys and tons of other cool stuff. I'm just waiting (Patiently) for this years yard sale. This year we're supposed to do the attic. I want to take everything down and look through every box. I wanna find everything that's up there.

Find anything in the Attic?
Nope...At least not here since there is no attic..
I know I have some video game stuff and old bike parts still in my Moms Attic(mainly system boxes)
But:..I'm still hoping to acquire that Boxed Vectrex from a woman that works with my wife who states to have in her Attic..(It's the only gaming system the woman ever mentioned to own)
My wife's Boss(female) gave me her entire NES collection that was in her Attic about 2-3 years ago when she bought a new house..(Consisted of Complete NES system,Game Holder Shelf and around 35-40 Games)
She was going to throw it all out,I'm sure glad she knew I was into collecting games..(Thanked my wife)

I wish I could find something in an attic, ours is so tough to access (to get to it you have to go into the spare bedoom, open the closet door, wich houses a 2ft.deep by like 3ft wide closet completely empty it out from top to bottom including the close rack from the top and take out the shelves and get a ladder and open the tiny hatch in the top) and we don't store anything anyway so I have to miss out on the fun. I have to stick to garage sales.

Just recently I found over 100 NES, SNES, Gameboy and Game gear manuals, a few loose SNES and 2600 games, and some other assorted riff-raff.
As soon as I feel like looking some more I'm going to check again because some things I know I have is a big collection of magazines from '90-'94, some NES games and an NES top loader. When I find that top loader, it will be a happy day in the Sauza household.

I found a boxed SNES. It was in my grandma's attic. It belonged to my uncle before he passed on. :(
