I was on different sites surfing their inventory and bumped upon this game. It said in the description that it was a Super Mario Bros. Melee clone but with Konami characters. Anyone know if it's worth getting?
Here's the game by the way:

It's not as good as Smash Bros, as the character's have less special attacks, and there's no items, but it's still a fun game, and there's something nice about beating the hell out of Megatron with Solid Snake in Castlevania.

i lost interest after finding out (from a review) the choaniki brothers were not in the game as i had heard. if that's incorrect, lemme know.

I finally got this game today (an early birthday present for myself), and I am loving it. I wanted to play with Solid Snake in his first fighting game before Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out next week.
In a way, I like it better than Super Smash Bros. Melee. Maybe it's because the characters are fresh and obscure or maybe it's because I got bored with Melee's hundred different activities after a while.
It is a great lineup of default characters (credit to Wikipedia):
Konami side:
Twinbee
Power Pro-kun ("Pawapurokun" in Japan; Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū '94 - Super Famicom 1994 or MLB Power Pros on U.S. PS2)
Solid Snake (Hidden)
Moai (Hidden)
Hudson Soft side:
White Bomberman ("Shirobon" in Japan)
Master Higgins ("Takahashi Meijin" in Japan)
Yugo the Wolf
Momotarō (Momotarō Densetsu - Famicom 1987)
Sengoku Manjimaru (Tengai Makyō II: Manjimaru - PC Engine CD 1992; Hidden)
Bimbōgami (Momotarō Dentetsu - Famicom 1988; Hidden)
Takara side:
Optimus Prime ("Convoy" in Japan)
Tyson Granger ("Kinomiya Takao" in Japan)
Microman (w/Robotman)
Licca-chan (Japanese fashion doll)
Aska (Cool Girl toyline; Hidden)
Megatron (Hidden)
There are some really cool moments, like when the Medusa heads float across the screen in the Castlevania stage.
However, it definitely isn't as feature-rich as SSBM and the enemy characters have too many cheap attacks. At the very least, some characters seem to have a serious advantage over others. Simon Belmont and the Micronauts character seem to have more wide-range attacks. You'd think that Optimus Prime would have some major ability but he just turns into a convoy, which is only useful if the character you're playing against is slow enough to get hit while he's transforming.
I am excited about unlocking Solid Snake, Twinbee and Megatron. I need to find an FAQ so I can figure out what I need to do and what these menus say so I can save my progress...hmmm.
Does anyone else own this game?
Also, can a mod move this to the import forum? I found this thread with the search engine...
