I was considering getting hitman.

I liked Manhunt, which I had for PS2. Creepy but fun. I didn't play much of Hitman Contracts but it was a solid game. Not a fan of Mafia but I wouldn't say it's a BAD game, either. FFX-2 is a matter of taste.

All of these are well worth their price new. And 99% of the time, EBgames shows you if the game is a greatest hits or platinum edition on their site (see the PS2 version of Hitman Contracts? It's also $9.99 but in a greatest hits box - I would never point my friends to those :)).

EB Games Online has some nice deals -- got my Phantom Brave LE there for $20, when everybody else sold the regular version for $30.

I may hafta pick up that FFX-2, but I am already up to my ears in RPGs! Ah, addictions....

I picked up FFX2 last night and it seemed like they had a backstock of NON-GH versions, which was awesome, I was going to change my mind if they had a GH. hehehe I think after the end of the month though, it goes back up to $19.99 as that is what it rang up in the computer. Only after he typed in a PROMO code, did it take the price down to $9.99. Other than X2 there werent any other $9.99 games advertised throughout the whole store. Are the rest just and EBGames.com sale?

Mafia kicks ass, its my favorite GTA clone. The story is amazing. I played on the pc but I'm shure the Xbox version is pretty close.

Actually its all about working the system. Pop a 99 cent Genny or PSone game in your cart, then use cag15, SAVER.Shipping will be less than a dollar. OK not extrodinary, but I don't mind paying $1 to for shipping.

I have been on a handheld kick lately... bought TONS of Game Gear games, and I just went to EBgames.com and bought 10 classic Gameboy games. I got the 16% off for order over $50, then 10% more for having an EB card, then free shipping.

That's 10 decent games for $6 a pop, including Dig Dig, both Earthworm Jim games, Street Racer, Paperboy, Contra Alien Wars, a shooter, and a couple of other good games.
