I know, I know, I keep going on and on about my favorite PC strategy game, something which is now over four years old. But I just thought I'd see who all out there likes this game...'cause I'm making some new multiplayer maps for it, and I thought I might share with ya. (And if ya dont have Dune2K? I've seen jewel-case-only copies turning up in Best Buy's $1 bin around here.) I can walk you through installing the new maps if you haven't already done it.
I spent something like five hours playing one of my own maps for the first time ever last night/this morning, and even with the computer's wimpy AI in multiplayer practice mode, it's kicking MY ass just to stay alive and keep a base running.
I know there's an active Dune2K fan community out there with their own web site, but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone wants to give my stuff a try. Here's a little preview of a map I just finished, somewhat forbiddingly titled "The Ninth Key"...you might just spot something familiar. :P
