PS2 Guncon and S-Video Hookup Questions

I just got my copy of Point Blank 3 today with the Guncon gun, but I can't figure out how to hook it up! I have a PS2 with S-Video and I use a multiple switchbox gizmo so now I'm all confused on what the heck to do with the little yellow plug. Do I need some sort of S-Video adapter for this stupid thing or am I missing something really obvious?

Yellow plug is a pass through for the RCA jacks. The GunCon won't work unless it's hooked up.

Problem is I don't use the yellow plug because I use S-Video. It doesn't seem to work by just plugging it in to the empty jack.

I had the same initial problem Tempest...

As far as I can tell, the original Guncon will not work with a PS2 as is...since the Guncon has to plug into the back of the PS2 itself...that's why I dusted off the old Playstation console...it was worth it...

If there is some kind of adapter, I would love to know about it...

Will the Guncon 2 (PS2 compatible) work with the older games???

The Guncon 1 works with PS2....only thing is you can't use S Video, that's your problem...you have to use that passthru, and you have to use regular composite cables, you can't use S video or component with the Guncon.....

there is an adapter that sony made that you can use guncon 1 and 2 with.
