I'm importing a Genesis 2 A/V cable...

from the United States, as I can't find any at a good price on eBay UK (huh. Cheaper to import than buy at home...). My Mega Drive is the standard-issue PAL model 2, and I'm sick of the crummy RF lead that it came packaged with. My main question is - will this US Genesis 2 A/V cable be compatible with my UK Mega Drive 2 model? I don't want to shell out on a cable that won't work with my TV or console. Any help'd be appreciated, thanks.

EDIT - Ah yes, I'm also getting the official Sega 6-button controllers from the US seller. Would these work also?

They will work on your UK MD, but i'm not 100% on if the A/V cables will connect to your TV (unless RCA inputs are common there as well).

But finding some adaptors to convert RCA to say...BNC connectors should be easy.
