Looks like they took a page out of ESPN's games by adding pregame commentary with the Virtual Gameday Crew....

New Additions:
Take Home the Heisman Trophy: Begin your career as a prep star in search of scholarship offers and work your way to becoming one of the nation’s top collegiate players. Continue your post-college career in Madden NFL 06 or coach a Division 1-A program.

Year-Round Recruiting: Issue official on-campus visits all season long in Dynasty Mode as you track prospect interest via Rivals.com.

Impact Players: Game-changing performers single-handedly break games wide open with highlight reel moves and special animations.

Breakaway Control: New analog controls allow you to pull off special moves and animations like ankle-snapping jukes and QB sidesteps as you break tackles on the way to the end zone.

Totally Redesigned Graphics: From turf texture to sky color, every detail has been redesigned, including innovative stadium lighting and revolutionary player models.

New Dynamic Analysis: Watch Brad Nessler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso provide new in-studio commentary and analysis on each team’s impact players prior to kickoff.

All-New Mini-Games: Hone your skills in four new mini-games: Pass Skeleton, Oklahoma Drill, Option Attack, and Rushing Attack.

Anyone know why this is being released for Gamecube? I am disappointed, I love the NCAA football series.

Could be the size of the GCN market, could also be difficulty in fitting everything on the smaller GCN disc. My bet would be on the latter.

I hope they include the ability to throw the ball into the crowd and then attack the cheerleaders while naked because that would be great.

I just finished my 30th season of NCAA 2005 the other day also. :D

(This is why I have no problem with buying the new sports games when they come out -- they get TONS of playing time around here 8-) )

I've got the XBox version on pre-order. Should only be a few more weeks. I like how it sounds like you can play as a player besides a coach (something carried into Madden from the sounds of it) and recruting players all year long.

Now if only they allow you to redshirt a player as long as it's not past the three week of the season like the real NCAA conference....

And that's bad how? I could care less which company makes this football game as long as it's a good one. I don't look at companies when it comes to buying games.
