Let me bring you up to speed. Intervention is a show on A&E where family members of people with hard addictions seeks intervention for the loved one with the addiction issues. episodes are usually for the hard core drugs.

I thought I seen it all. But this sunday at 10:00pm eastern standard time on A&E this weeks promo has the friends and family of one of the individuals claiming intervention is needed because he is addicted to video games. Apparently the only time this guy shows emotion is when he is playing video games I wonder if he is a member of DP. I bet real money it was an rpg from Square or nintendo that got him. The promo was so fast if you weren't paying attention you would miss the fact that videogames is this weeks badboy. If this guy has less than 10 games in his room I am going to send the producers room of doom pics that should be good enough for a miniseries.
Just thought I share in case someone wanted to wacth.

Oh jeez, I bet that goes over real well.

The only time where I can see this as a problem if he's one of those guys that just sits on an MMO perpertually and just pisses at his desk and types /pizza, ect. Otherwise...it's a damn hobby. I'd like to see someone try and give another person an intervention ebcause they watch TV or read or go to the movies or play a sport or such.

Well, I do have (or should I say had) a friend that plays an online MMORPG game all the damn time. Every night and day, at least 10+ hours. He's also has a pager so he can be contacted by friends and such if they need him online quickly. I haven't seen him in over a year now due to his game addiction.

I think it would be a really interesting show if it actually documented one of "those people" who are really typing "/pizza" and peeing into a Gatorade bottle next to their desk.

What I expect it will be is some Fratboy that plays a ton of Madden and Tiger Woods and just sits around and plays games with his buddies too much.

That's not very exciting. Anyway, when is it on?

Note to self: keep parents away from that show.

Between this and "Justice Sunday", I'm certain that there's going to be a snowstorm in a very hot place on Sunday.
