Have you guys ever sold something to a big seller on eBay and you KNOW that it's just going to be relisted on eBay immediately because the person thinks he/she can make a profit on it?

Considering we all know the value of our games pretty well (and the going rates on eBay for those of us who sell), you would think the people buying from us wouldn't be getting anything lower than the standard price. I know I'm not doing any favors when I list stuff on eBay; I'm trying to squeeze as much money out of my items as possible. I look at all the recently ended auctions, and I get an idea of what I think I can reasonably get and sometimes I set a BIN at the highest I think an item will sell for.

So I do that with 3 games, and luckily, I get the BIN on all 3. But I see one of the buyers has multiple copies of the same game listed for sale, and he sets the starting bid price a buck higher than my BIN and his BIN is practically double mine. Now that he received my game, I bet I can tell which copy was mine, haha. I don't know how these sellers make any profit at all. Out of 10+ completed listings for just that one game from him, only 1 sold. o_O Hehe, funny stuff.

I was seeing this recently from the other side, sort of. I had bid on a limited edition system and got sniped at the end. No biggie, wasn't looking that hard for it. So the next day I go searching for a similar system and I see the same seller whose auction I just lost is the high bidder on a similar system. So this guy must just be trying to snag systems and turn them right back around. But now that I see him doing that, why would I let myself get beat out on an auction he's trying to win, just to resell?

Heh, I won't!
