I got a bunch of pizzas this past Friday. When I picked up the pizza I was blown away by Metal Gear Solid 3 Pizza Boxes!
Check out a few pics that I took...

LoL, those pizza boxes are pretty damn funny. I love the MGS checklist in the second picture.
Where did you order the pizza from? I looked over the box but didn't see anything indicating where it was from.
My guess is Peter Pipers. interesting stuff.

Hey, that's pretty cool. See if they have any left -- that could make a good collectable someday for the die hard Metal Gear fans. :)

Yea, where did you get your pizza from? That is awesome. Do you guys remember a promo that dominoes did a while back where they gave you a dvd with every free pizza (Bill and Teds Excelent Adventure and a few others)? Maybe they should do that with playstation games.. Maybe throw in a bestseller game.. I would buy a pizza for that.

Woah. That Xbox pizza looks pretty darn gross... No wonder Japan hates the Xbox.
Nice Metal Gear one though... like many before me, where? hmmm?

I think your going to have to get a few more pizzas and fill in others here at where you got them.
I know i would like to get one of those boxes (preferably without grease and cheese stains)
Maybe some lucky fellow could go to the pizza shop they are from and pick up a few boxes with their order LOL

Actually, when I lived in the philippines I got a pizza every week.. They are WAY cheaper than here (about 5 bucks for a large) and they are better quality.. For some reason they didnt have black olives tho :(
but back on topic.. My guess is its from peter piper pizza.. I dont remember any major chains having any game promos.. I eat a lot of pizza and their boxes havent changed much in the last year.. usually if they have some kind of advert, they tape it to the generic box..

I got the pizzas at Brio's Pizza in Phonecia, NY (Catskills area) It's not a franchise.
They have extremely good pizza for the area - It doesn't come close to PePe's Pizza in New Haven, CT or San Tarpio's in Boston, but it's good.
I have 4 of the boxes - all of them have slight pizza stain on the inside. If anyone want's them I would be happy to provide but there are two obstacles - (1) the boxes are at my parents house (I was visiting this weekend) so I would not be able to send until I visit them again (within a month). (2) Next, how do you ship a pizza box (without ruining it)? Like I said, I'd be happy to offer them but it might be a little tough to do.

You should go to the pizza place and ask for some unused boxes. Just tell them that you are a game collector. It would be cool to have one of those, but I wouldnt save one that had pizza in it.

Yes, it would be cool to grab a few - but I was picking up pizzas at the tail end of a 3 hour drive to visit the parents - and the place is not very easy for me, nor my parents, to get to. So odd that I found this in upstate NY.

Uh...Okay you have dibs - like I said, I've got 4 available but I don't really know how to ship 'em. any ideas? I'm thinking it would get wrecked in the mail :(

As for shipping it, you could always just turn it inside out, and then write the address on the outside and ship it that way. Of course, someone might complain if they prefer an absolute minty box.
Mmm...snake meat pizza...

There has to be other chains that had those boxes. Maybe you can call Konami and ask them if they have a list of stores that were sent boxes? Then we can contact local stores and see if we can buy some from them.

Those look really cool .
You could do just like they do with records and sandwich them in between some cardboard and cover with paper and then put to not bend or fold all over the package.

That's probably your best bet - you don't really want my pizza stained boxes do you? Honestly I'm sure that the pizza places have absolutely no say in getting these boxes. Whomever maks their boxes probably got to offer the boxes to all pizza stores for a lower premium if the entire box is an advertisement for product X (MGS3 in this case) You would have to get in touch with the marketing department at Konami USA or ask the pizza place where they get their boxes.
Seriously guys, they are PIZZA BOXES!! I thought that it was pretty cool, but the pix are really enough for me - what are you gonna do with a pizza box!!?? :-P
But if I am up in the area again, I'll stop at the place and ask them about it and pick up some dry ones (no idea when I'll be going though).

What are you gonna do with a Shaq Fu and Superman 64? :hmm:
Collect them, dammit! LOL
Hey folks, call the pizza shop...they may sell some to ya or at least tell you what distributor they came from.

Ye.. i think its better if you can get a hold some un-used boxes it would be much more collectible. I doubt that ppl will buy a used pizza box with moldy cheese and rotten tomatosauce for big money just because it might be rare in 10-15 years.

If anything save the top of the box with the art work and hang it up or frame it.

Really? How long were you in the philippines for? Pizza Hut has done quite a few game promotions in the past couple of years including giving out Playstation demos and promoting TMNT 2 for the NES.
they tape it to the generic box..

eeep if someone does manage to get some of these boxes unused PLEASE don't flip them inside out and ship them like that or cut them up. At least not until you get one mailed to me in a nice safe box with lots of packing peanuts ;) .
