Vib ribbon? How valuabe.. did i make the right choice?

Hi,

I wanted to know if this was a good descision

I ordered today Vib Ribbon (PAL) for £3 (roudn about $6 usd - goes on ebay for £20 - $40)

I could have ordered it apposed to metal slug x or parasite eve 2 or railroad tycoon 2. The online rarity guide isnt much help so which is the rarest? (These are all PAL)

Funilly enough i told the guy to put down the order for metal slug x and right at the last moment asked for vib ribbon and the shock! it was tehre.

Also was vib ribbon re-released as a platinum hits version?

So did i make the right choice?

You made a great choice, as Vib Ribbon is Rare (IMO) and also a great game (IMO)

And for £3 you cant go wrong!

To my knowledge Vib Ribbon was never released as Platinum


And Railroad Tycoon 2, is that rare?!?!?! @_@

Also will its value go down if it doesnt have the poster.. What about if it doesnt have the manual?

Hm, Vib Ribbon isn't that rare imo, there's always lots on ebay, and at least here it usually goes for up to €20.

Also, the poster is the manual, so this might reduce the value quite a bit :)

Vib-Ribbon isn't that rare, but it is in great demand because it is a very good game (if you get the hang of it)...

But seriously, you spend £3 on a game, and then come here to ask if it was a good deal O_O It's only £3 you know... Almost any game is worth that amount...

Rare or not, it's simply a great game and extremely unique. We need more modern games with a vector graphics look!

ok, vib ribbon is not rare but many people recognice that it's a great game with a fresh idea and want to have it.

if it's released "Platinum" it would be stated in the DP online guide.

The manual and other items (like the included poster in that case) are EVERY time an essential part of the whole package - if something is missing the value goes down.

so, for 3 Quid you got a great deal - nothing more, nothing less.

btw, managed to pick up a few of those PSX games just now - I'll try to get some more on Thursday, and will PM you then... :)
