What are some vehicles (bikes, cars, trucks, trains, planes, ships, shuttles, jets, spacecraft, mechs, etc.) in video games you really think are cool?
I'm not an RPG kinda' guy, but the Highwind airship on Final Fantasy VII is one of my favorite modes of transport in a video game.

On a related note, I think Final Fantasy VIII's Ragnarok is pretty sweet too.

I'm glad you said the Ragnarok. That IS a sweet ship. :)
There's a few ships from Star Ocean 3 and Xenosaga 2 that I was really impressed with, and the Star Trek, Star Wars, and Wing Commander games have some very cool ships or fighters in them as well.

I'm not a big RPG guy so i would say the Car from Spy Hunter for PS2. Super cool car i wish i had one.

So should I start naming like half the GT4 car list, or spare you all the tedium? :-)
Going around the track in a late 1800s Daimler is pretty cool, though.

The Warthog came to mind first only because its logo was the first thing to catch my eye when I turned to look at my shelves.
Didn't we do this? I think I mentioned the hovercraft from BG&E.
Or Samus' ship.

Yup, all three of the Einhänder ships are badass but I'd have to go with the classics - the Vic Viper and Lord Britsh from the Gradius universe.
Wow....so many choices. I could go for some serious off-road action in a Mech Assault battle suit.
I think that the most exhilarating thing to drive would be Annakin's podracer from StarWars Episode 1 Racer. That would be scary as hell. Even piloting one in the game was too fast at times. LOL
