Sent a mail to Capcom and asked when Megaman Anniversary was comming to Europe and got reply today:
I am sorry to disappoint you but we have no plans at present to release Megaman Anniversary Collection in Europe.
Best regards,
Capcom
Damn, this sux hehe :\
I also asked about Megaman Anniversary for GBA and got this reply:
I am not aware of any plans to release Megaman Anniversary for the GBA, but we will be releasing Megaman Battle Network 5 for the GBA on 10-06-2005
Double doh! :(

Regarding the 'anniv collection' for GBA - I remember when they released early screenshots and the game was available for pre order at Capcom.com - now it's just disapeared and they are acting like it never existed.
Hopefully someone will dump it (in the case that it's never released) - my guess is that it's being re-worked for the Gamecube & that EXE 5 would have been much harder to migrate to the new platform.

Damn, I'm still hanging on to the glimmer of hope that the GBA collection might still be coming out.
Oh, and If you live in europe and are deprived of Mega Man collection goodness, I suggest you buy a Freeloader disc for gamecube, which will allow you to play US games. Then just import MM collection and all shall be well. :D

I do have a modded PS2 so I can just import from USA, but still, I do prefer PAL :)
There is also a fullpage ad about Megaman Anniversary for GBA in the official "Megaman Battle Chip Challenge" strategy guide from Bradygames.
It shows 4 screenshots and box art. Its so strange that they canceled this or put it on ice.

Hey, I was going to ask a question about Mega Man Anniversary today... Not to be mean because you guys don't get it (which is weird -- it shouldn't be hard to localize for Europe at all...), but...
I have the GameCube version. How do you save in the game, or can you not? I bought it figuring it would be like Sonic Mega Collection for the Xbox (IE Save anywhere) which really helps when I have five minutes to play, but I didn't see it on MegaMan when I powered it up yesterday.
Also, is there any way to switch the control scheme? They reversed the A / B buttons so they don't make nearly as much sense.

Don't worry Europe, if we get it, I'm sure some US guys around here will hook you up 8-)

Are you freaking kidding me. I REALLY was looking forward to obtaining those harder to find MegaMan GB games on one cart! I am VERY dissapointed in capcom's decision to not release this, if that is true. I really hope they reconsider, or the person the above poster emailed just has no clue....
Argh!

Well the game has been delayed forever and there hasn't been any news on it in probably a year...I think it's safe to say that it's dead.
The only thing I can think of is that they are going to include it as a bonus in a future game or compilation. At least I hope so :/

It saves your game automatically after every level.
