Here are some new images of Namco's arcade light gun shooting game Cobra The Arcade, the game is based on the classic anime series Space Adventure Cobra from 1977. The protagonist Cobra has a mechanic left arm, which can discharge projectile weapons; similar to the Time Crisis series, you can use the foot pedal to dodge attacks and reload the bullets. You can customize the weapon and save your progress to memory card. Additional stages and play modes will appear after you cleared a certain number of stages.

Damn, if they're making a Space Adventure Cobra shooter how hard would it be for them to make another Golgo 13 sniper game? C'mon, please ... !

Nice, the Buichi Terasawa's masterpiece anime series, and a favorite of mine, I heard of it but didn't had the chance to get some pics until now, thanks G&G!

Not knowing a damn thing about Space Adventure Cobra, I must nonetheless say that this looks pretty bitching. I am partial to light gun games, and I always thought Namco brought out the best in such games (Point Blank, Steel Gunner, Time Crisis, of course). I can't wait to see how it plays in whatever arcade it gets released at over here!
