Or, to rephrase the question, of all the systems you own, which one has gone the longest since you played it? I'm not absolutely positive but I think the one system of mine that I've not played in the longest time is probably my ColecoVision. It might be because I'm not crazy about the controllers or that, if I'm going to play games from that era, I seem to be more likely to play 5200 games. I'm not sure just how long it's been (probably a few years) and I know I haven't bought a game for it in probably 3 years or more. I need to start cycling through my systems so every9one gets some game loving...

My poor 3DO gets played about once every two years whenever I think I should sell it. I bust out either Lost Eden or the Incredible Machine and play it until I realize that I really dig the game I'm playing and shouldn't sell it. Then back to the shelf it goes.

Well Right now im gonna have to say my super nintendo because I just brought it home from my parents house and definitly haven't played it in a good couple years, but soon I will start playing it again, waiting till I get a game that really tells me to play it, but sooner than later.

I've never played my 7800, since I'm missing that pesky power lead.

Sega Cd. I havent played that system in a year. I dont have any games for it. Actually, I should really sell that system on Ebay to buy some Nes games that I need.

I think I have to name the Dreamcast. I don't have much games for it and not one single game that I think it's a killer (ok, Power Stone is cool, but I've allready finished it), just so-so. I rarely play with it, even if it is a good system. Most of the time it's not connected to the TV because I can only use two systems at one time (besides the NES or S-Nes, they use the satelite cable) and I don't like it that I always have to lo change the cables.

This brings to my mind that I've seen a used Dreamcast in the Easy Cash store and also some games. I immediately have to check the games out after work! Hopefully I'll find something interesting.

Of all the systems I have hooked up and ready to go, I'd have to say either my Atari 5200 or my Intellivision.

My MegaDuck - I don't have a game for it and games are really hard to track down :(

Probably the 5200 or the 800/XE setup I have. I bought a used 800 with tons of game discs, but it's a pain in the ass to set up. And I can't get my XE to work.

I would have to say my Game Boy Color. Since getting the GBA about 2 years ago I have only turned the GBC on to see if the batteries were dead or not.

My PS2 has not been "turned on" (no pun intended) since I february.

Everything else has had some playtime recently and the PSP, Sega CD and Xbox lead, closely followed by the GC and Virtual Boy.

Definitely my Jaguar. I picked it up about three years ago for $20 new in a sealed box and still haven't picked up any games for it. At the price, I couldn't pass it up. But it seems that everywhere I find Jag games, they jack the price up far more than it should be. I'm content to wait, I still have lots of other consoles to hold my attention.

That would be either my x-box or my PS1. As neither system work right now, thats understanable.

Hmm...my Jaguar has been unpluged for as long as I can remember. I think I only played each of my games once on it, since I don't own any of the good titles for it. Maybe one day I'll purchase AVP or something.

Easily my N64. its the only system I own that is not hooked up. It just sits in a plastic bag. Heck, I'm using the N64's A/V cable for my SNES since I only had an RF unit for it.

Original Game Boy

I've had it since I was little, it's in horrible horrible shape, and I haven't turned it on in at least 6 years.

Poor little guy. :(

Well, I've never actually played my 3DO since I don't have all the hookups necessary to play it.

I've only played my Microvision once, since it has a bad case of screen rot and is just about unplayable.

Some of you might not consider it a gaming system, but I haven't played my Commodore 64 since last year either. I've thought about firing it up quite often but I never get around to it. :/

I'd say my Game Gear.

I played the hell out of it when I was a kid, played the hell out of every game I have for it, haven't bought anything for it in years.

I am still fiending for a G.G. White though...

Exact same thing with me. I don't know why but I really can't get into my ColecoVision. My 5200, 2600, Intellivision and Vectrex get regular usage. The poor ColecoVision always seem to get ignored...

The last time I remember playing my Atari 7800 was with my friend Dave; we were playing Dark Chambers. Dave moved away in March of 1996. So it's at least 9 years, maybe 10.

I should really power that thing up and give it a go! I used to love Tower Toppler and Super Skateboardin'.

Considering that after I completed my collection of Sega 32X, I got a little burned out and started just hooking up the game systems that I play. After I got my CDX, I took the huge contaption like monster combination of the Genesis2/SCD2/32X and stored it...last year. Not only do I not play it, but I think I put the system in a plastic container by itself...

GameCube, Because it's boring... LOL The only game I really want is Resident Evil 4 and that new Zelda game....

I'm not a Nintendo basher or anything, I just can't stand the GC(but thats a different story for another topic).

GameBoy: Advance, I recently got a DS, so I have been using that for my GBA games(because they really do look and sound nicer).

Most played systems...

1.Dreamcast, I love this system dude. It's got all the hardcore shooters/fighters/ect, yet it still has the mainstream(yet still awesome). Stuff like Resident Evil(all the ones on DC), THPS1, THPS2, GTA2, ect, ect. It comes together for a nice mix(plus all the Sega classics, including the best game ever: Shenmue). Throw in awesome homebrew and emulator support, and great multiplayer. And you have a system that will keep me entertained for a long time. :)

2.Xbox, It's simple... Xbox Live makes the Xbox 471% better. :D

3.PSP, This is just... "T3H OMG BEZT HANDHELD EVAR!" I know I'm gonna get flamed for this one, but this system is awesome! I mean who doesn't enjoy a little Metal Gear Ac!d while on the toilet???

Probably a toss up between my Jaguar & my Odyssey 2. Nothing particularly wrong with either, I just haven't hooked them up in a while.

I have neglected my Genesis the most but I'll get around to it. Right now I'm trying to play my games by year and I'm on 1986 so for me that's my NES and SMS.....playing Gradius for NES and Rambo for SMS right now.

My Odyssey 300 "Pong" system, I played that badboy once and only once. I don't see it being played ever again, but I could be wrong.

My gamegear hardly gets any play since I hate replacing the batteries every 1 or 2 hours. I have an A/C but it is very touchy and let's just say I had a BAD experience with the A/C and a certain game called Shining Force.

My VC4000 - got hardly any games for it, which aren't exciting anyway of course. Plus the two units I have are both semi-broken: one doesn't play sound, the other doesn't output graphics.

Atari 2600, definitely. The CD-i I'll play just for Hotel Mario and The 7th Guest - though, heh, I'm gonna need a better controller if I want to get anywhere in the first two Zelda games :O

There's also TETSUOO GAYDEN, where you can have SCOAR INCREES (all spelt fone-etic-ally, I'm not trying to be insulting). I roasted that one last night to a couple classic schmup guys - it's hard to understand how really awful, mac-sharewaresy it really is without seeing it.

I'd have to say my Master System, under the bed it sits in its box. Really I just don't have the space for it right now and I'm trying to make sure nothing gets messed up until I can get my room of doom going, which is why a lot of other systems such as the 5200 and 2600 etc. are in storage as well. I had been longer since I pulled out a 2600 but I picked one up for a couple bucks a few months ago and cleaning / testing of it bumped the SMS to the bottom of the list.

But it seems that everywhere I find Jag games, they jack the price up far more than it should be.

...until I went to sell all my Jag stuff last summer and got about 3/5 what it was worth. :/

This almost makes me want to start a "Did You Ever Drop A Handheld In The Toilet" thread... :D

Yup, but it was a Game.com two years ago so I was more concerned with it depreciating the value of the toilet rather than the other way around.

For me, its probably a tie between the SMS and the TG16... and maybe even my PS1.

The last time I played my SMS is when my girlfriend gave me hers (which she had in her basement for years and never gave it to me.) I think I played one of the Wonder Boy games last... maybe #3.

The last time I played my Turbo Grafx was around Christmass. I had a month off from school and I wanted to try to get into it. Of coarse, it didn't work.

I have 2 Ps1's, and they both sit there. I think the only games I have ever played on them are Twisted Metal 2 and Spyro the Dragon.

2 systems:

Saturn: I bought for 6 bucks at a thrift shop that only has one controller and no hook-ups ,no games :/

NES: just got my old NES back from a friend that now has no hookups at all and ONE good controller

they both stay in a box at the bottom of my closet with old scratched up DC games , demos and some of my classic NES games :sob:

I swear that, beginning on my next day off (which would be next Monday), I'm going to start pulling out all my older consoles, the ones which I haven't played for awhile, and start having some more classic gaming time. I'll probably start with the ColecoVision (my loneliest system) as well as the Atari 2600 and 5200...the Genesis is also lonely as it's one 16-bit system I never play anymore but it'll probably have to wait another couple of weeks before I can get to it. Maybe we should have a National Lonely Console Week? :D

Has to be either Jaguar or Master System for me. I don't really get any enjoyment from the Jag games I've got and to play/test Master System games, I just dig out my Game Gear and Master Gear Convertor.

probably my model 2 Lynx. Hell, I don't think I ever even play the damn thing. LOL If you're wondering more about typical consoles, I don't know, maybe my N64 or Dreamcast? I haven't touch those two in months.

My O^2 has been hooked up exactly twice since I got it (3 years ago). The first time was when I got it, and the second time was when I found a couple games in the wild and wanted to make sure they worked.

I've had this console since I was kid. Unfortunatly, no hookups at the moment, or for that matter the past 15 years. It gets pretty lonely in the closet all alone, so I decided to give her some company and put the Action MAX in there too :) .

My 32X, if that counts. I hooked it up once, just to see if it works, and played cosmic carnage for about 5 minutes. I actually got chaotix for it which I'd love to play, but I'm just to damn lazy to hook the thing up. :/

My Virtual Boy. It gets played once or twice a year. Runner up is my GBA, but I play plenty of GB/C/A games on the GB Player.

edit:

If you want to get really technical then its my original GB, followed by the VB, GBpocket, GBcolor, but I'd rather just lump them together as GBA.

After reading the other answers I have to say that I named the wrong system. The one I haven't played for years is my original Gameboy. It still works right but if I ever feel like playing on of the games I use the TV-adapter for the Super-Nes. I never take my Gameboy with me, only the GBA SP.

My poor 3DO... I used to make out with it fairly regularly, but I haven't given it any love in a LONG time. In fact, it's two states away in my brother's basement with all the games. Big collection, too, with lots of boxes. I need to get it or get rid of it.

My Colecovision. It's been sitting in its very pretty box since the day I bought it a a flea market over a year ago, never once played.

I've had my Jaguar a good deal longer and have played it too, its just been a few years since I've plugged it in. Often I wonder if I should sell it, but I know I really enjoy the two games for it that I do have (Flip Out and Cyber Morph).
