Damn, I didnt think it would be this popular but I already had 11 orders for the CD-I informercial already. Everyone that has paid via paypal so far, your orders went out this morning. Now to let everyone know my experience last night. It was everything I thought it would be, as the commercial went on and on (its a half hour) it all came back to me and I remembered it exactly how it was 10 years ago. to anyone that doesnt have a cd-i or has never even seen one, this commercial can change your mind in a minute! its emotional just talking about it :embarrassed: . it has this very funny moment where they are interviewing people on their experience with cdi and one guy goes "i cant even operate my vcr, but i can operate a cdi!" good stuff! LOL anyways its a great infomercial and the transfer went quite well over to DVD using my set top dvd recorder. it has no real tracking issues and is pretty good quality for an 12 year old vcr tape! its funny as when the infomercial is over is starts playing another one for people with anxiety disorder and this one guy says he destroys things when he is mad or something like that! :P anyways let me know if anyone needs one and i have also updated the front page with a R8 copy of woody woodpecker volume one for 3do and dreamcast imports shenmue 2 and cosmic smash! thanks again for looking!

Transfer it to a VCD format. Then one COULD watch it on their CD-I (or I could). BTW.. just curious.. how many copies of that GOOD Zelda game do you have? (Was that "Adventure of Zelda.. or sumpin' like that?).

yeah i though about that transfer to vcd, and have even done it, but you get horrible quality, so its pretty much worth it to watch on your dvd player! and as for zeldas adventure, i only have my one copyfor myself. thats game flucuates very weirdly on ebay, sometimes its at $50-$60 and sometimes it goes to as high as $300! @_@ its is a great game in my opinion though, imagine the gameplay of the first zelda on the nes, but with real digitized images of the trees, the lakes, the enemies, etc. just an awesome sight! people put it down alot but i think it is a truely great game. it even has fmv sequences at certain points with zelda and a wizard making that the only time ever (to my knowledge) that zelda was treated as a live action character in any game. also the weirdest part of the game is that instead of link saving zelda you are zelda saving link ;)

probably about a million, oh wait i watched it this morning as well so make that about a million and one! 8-) it was so great to finally get the infomercial. it had turned into such a long search and there were times when i almost gave up but im glad i didnt! i took a chance with the company because i didnt have a choice and if i wouldnt have i would have never known! i may still get the other two, but im hoping they arent just different versions of the same thing. $130 to buy 2 more vhs tapes is pretty steep but i may just do it still! again if anyone needs a dvd copy of this great infomercial all it takes is 8 small dollars and its yours. and if you have bought one already and have received, post what you think about it here so others can bask in the glory with you! (if you didnt like it, you dont have to post anything, i dont want you to bring the party down ;) )

yeah i use dvd+rw because in my house i have a sony dvd player, a magnavox dvd player, a pioneer dvd player,an ilo dvd recorder, a ps2 and an xbox and they will not read dvd+r's, only dvd+rw (except the ps2). thats strange that your ps2 doesnt play it, because that is what i tested it on! i have the model that had the yellow plus on the front of the box meaning that it can read dvd+r + dvd+rw discs, so maybe you dont have that model. a dvd+rw plays a virtually every set top dvd player though, so just throw it in one of those and it should be fine. ive sold 26 copies so far and put them on the same brand of disc and you are the only one (so far) that has had compatiblity issues so it should be fine on a standard dvd player. oh and a tip for those using xbox. alot of times if you put the disc in first, then power down, the power on with the disc in already it works every time ;)
