am i drunk? i tried the online rarity database and it didn't come up. i tried searching the forums and never saw mention of a going price. i've gleaned from everyone's attitudes it is quite rare, but i have found no mention of pricing anywhere. what do these go for? loose? complete?
i've got a lead on one but it's said not to have a keyboard. i'd almost definitely want to sell it off after ensuring that it works so i want to know how much i can expect for it, and based on that how much i should pay for it. the most i'd have to pay is $75.
is there even a market for these? in searching the forums i saw that ed obscuro was searching for one, but he isn't exactly in good standing around here any more. anyone else intereseted in the teradrive?
thanks,
dan.

I sure as hell would be interested...especially if it came with the box and monitor. Interesting system, IBM-made. At $75 it's a steal.
What model is it?

oops lol
I'm sure some other folks would be interested in it, as well LOL
(In my defense - I've been a good buyer, just a really lousy seller!)

no box, but there appears to be a monitor. i haven't actually seen it yet. no keyboard though. i did find that listing for $299 for the base unit, but that store appears to be closed and i can't verify that price with any other retailers.

The models issue, just to assure you, has nothing to do with the Mega Drive portion - it's just extra RAM and hard drive, I believe, for the actual machine. Parts that can be found cheaply anywhere.
Neo Geo Man's moved to Australia, but *very* recently. His prices tend to be quite low for games and common systems, and he's offered things you won't find elsewhere. You probably want to put your asking price somewhere around that $300 mark. Any premium depends on the cosmetics/completeness of the unit, though - people (like me) who would spend money on something like this tend to be picky.

$75 is a bargain. Grab it.

i've got this thing in my posession now. freakin' sweet. it's a beautiful little machine. it even had wolfenstein 3d loaded on the HD!!! i was originally picking it up to make a quick buck but the combination of lack of documentation/accurate info on it and the fact that it's just plain fun way to play genny/MD games and old DOS games makes me wanna hold on to it!
i think i'll document it a little better and put a feature on it on my website, then play around with it and see if i can't fill the HD with decent dos games. maybe i'll flip it when i get bored of it later on down the road.

Do it! You won't regret it.
