So, finally got my room to the point I can take a few pics. Keep in mind this is not completed-still a lot of stuff to do. The little easals on top of things will be where the currently playing game for that section goes. Floor still isnt complete, and wiring for all the switchers and cables to make all the systems in the cabinets work is not completed yet.

The handhelds area, which is at the bottom of the stairs as you enter the basement, is a bit dark in the picture, my camera sucks. I will get better ones. The one thing you may all hate me for--I simply did not have the room for all the boxes...I tried for years, moving them around, storing them, etc. Finally, I decided to cut the covers off all the boxes, and hang them like art. This way, I still have the benefit of having them, the unique ones especially, and solve the space problem.

So, what do you think so far?

wow I saw some pretty rare systems in there (and i'm not talking about the Hello Kitty Dreamcast ;) ). how much is admition. looks like a mini classic gaming museum. I really like to see people set their stuff up so they can play all the great stuff they've collected.

Wow! Very impressive pics. :eek 2: You might want to brighten them up a little bit, because they are pretty dark. Other than that, great looking room of doom!

Great gogley mogley! Not only is the collection sweet, the organization is top notch!

What is the square footage of your room?

I can't wait to see it with decent [well lit] pictures!

The square footage is exactly half what i actually need :)

The room is about 16x18, plus i have a hallway and the landing coming down the steps for game stuff as well. I will get more (and much better quality!) pics of it all in a few days I think.

One thing that is going to suck is buying 16 video switchers...lol.

Looks great so far, I really like how the set up is going.

One thing I'm loving is the row of "active" consoles. Each set with their own screen ready to plug in and play. Nice touch. 8-)

It looks great. Can't wait until you think it is finished :) Though I agree with others, it is a tad too dark.

As for you cutting off the covers of the boxes... that's just sick. Sick in a BAD way. I don't know if I can ever look at you again in the same way.

Any collection is a good collection if it has over 10 systems I cant identify.
