Does anyone know what company originally published MR? I know it was created by Robert Jaeger, but the earliest reference I've seen to a publisher is Parker Bros.

Also, does anyone have any info on Montezuma's Return, the recent sequel? I'd never even heard of it until just now, while searching for info on the original.

There was a 2D Montezuma's Return for the GBC which bore some semblance to the original.

The 3D Montezuma's Return was released for the PC, among others. In fact, the PC version is up for download at Home of the Underdogs if you want to try it. (I might have even seen it for sale once or twice recently.)

MR 1 was on Ebay a few days ago going over $100 cause it was complete. I dont think I ever saw it, ending that high.
if anyone is looking for Montezuma's Revenge loose, I have it on Ebay. Search on Ebay for seller Kejoriv <--- shameless plug. LOL

For what system was this MR1 on Ebay, and for what system are you hawking yours, o shameless plugster?

The version of Montezuma's Revenge I spent a good portion of my youth playing credited no company, it just said "Cracked by the Software Pirates." I didn't know about the pirating/cracking scene back then, so for a long time I thought "Software Pirates" was the actual name of the publisher. LOL I was so young and naive...
