Damn you! I only looked because I thought the old "Pope-Mobile" was up for auction!

Wonder what one of those would go for...

I saw this yesterday on Ebay unbeleivable that someone wants this car.

I wouldn\'t want this (ex) nazi\'s stuff if they gave it to me for free. :/

I don't get it. Probably because it is in a different language. I guess the seller shares the same name as the Pope, and that they are advertising this as the Pope's car? Either way that is a massive amount so views!

Yeah , same here.... I thought maybe the Pope-mobile was up for auction. I would totally be all over that and love to "pimp it" in my pope mobile. LOL

Actually in Las Vegas there is some old car museum with all intresting and historic cars. They have hitlers old mercedes, old gangsters cars, and stuff like that. They had the Pope-mobile on display there. I remember it being on sale as well! Can't remember for the life of me how much they wanted though.

They have hitlers old mercedes,

Which is highly ironic, given that the casino in question (The Imperial Palace) is subject to one of the wilder urban legends in Vegas-the casino is purportedly shaped like a swastika when viewed from above.

I don't think it's necessarily fair to term everyone who served in the German military during WWII as a nazi, ideologically speaking.

Surely it speaks in the current Pope's favor that he deserted said military after a brief term of service. Most were probably far too scared of the reprecussions to ever do anything like that....
