There are plenty of great films, action and otherwise, that have never been adapted into their electronic counterpart, so what ones would you like to see released? Call me crazy, but for one, I would like to see a Kurosawa's Yojimbo or perhaps a Leone film game adaption.

Half-Life could be a interesting film. Granted it would probably be terrible, like Street Fighter or Resisdent Evil.

He means Movies that should become games!
I'd say Kill Bill would be an awesome game.

No, silly. :) I mean movies being adapted to games, not the other way around. Here's a good example, Dirty Harry. It was originally a film idea, but later adapted into a game for the NES.

Isn't is usually a good movie that gets turned into a bad video game and not the other way around :)
I would love to see a Monkey Island movie. They have to have enough material there for an hour and a half..

Ocean's Eleven would make a cool game, as would Seven and Memento.

Yeah, a lot of those have been made poorly, but there are some exceptions like 007 Goldeneye. :)

Doh, my bad. I miss read the title. I think bumfights would be an interesting game, granted it would be inappropriate. I would really like to see Blade in a video game. Make it like styled like Devil May Cry.

See, the problem is that most good movies get made into bad games. So I think we need to take bad movies and see if they can turn them into good games.

Ishtar
Heaven Can Wait
these could be the three greatest games ever if my theory holds true!!

Road Avenger doesn't use Riding Bean footage as the internet likes to tell you...but it would have been so much cooler if it did.
Gunsmith Cats also would make a cool game.
eXaXXion while i'm naming Sonoda series...
I'd love to see Wizards on a console, with in-engine cutscenes. My xbox needs to render more brightly colored nipples and nazi imagery.

The Goonies!
I know its been done for NES and MSX and so on, but how about a brand new 3d one based exactly on the Movie, going through caverns, finding treasure, avoiding traps, finding secret passages and so on, instead of the NES/MSX Versions!

Kind of obscure, but I always thought Smilla's Sense of Snow (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120152/) felt more like a point and click adventure than a movie.

None - they need original game properties that aren't hampered by a linear storytelling medium.

A game in the style of Memento would be nuts. You could go through it backwards in five-minute sections. I'd play it. :D

A survival/horror game based on Phantasm would be awesome...you've just blasted a cluster of silver spheres with your double shotgun, stomped a bunch of robed dwarves into yellow goo...and as you pass in front of a mirror, you hear the disembodied voice of the Tall Man groan, "You play a good game...BOYYYYYYYYYYY!" Followed by the sound of breaking glass in surround sound...
I think ol' Angus is still around, so he could do the voice for the game...creepy cool.

I want a game based on The Wizard. Imagine all the cool retro games they could cram into arcades and bus stations along the way to the championships! As long as there were no dinosaurs or whiny kids saying, "California!"

A Puppet Master game where you can control each puppet and use there individual abilities to pass obsacles, solve puzzles, kill B-movie babes etc.
I'd buy that game.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - Complete with Richard Burton drinking games? Wow. Emotionally crippling manipulation has never been more fun!
Rules of the Game - Shoot rabbits, dance with skeletons, then get stuck in a bear suit and question the worth of your life. Try not to get shot!
Any others?

Agreed 100%. (I can't agree any more than that because I don't play sports. ;) )
I think that video games do much better when they incorporate film elements as homage rather than buying the license outright. Example: Play "Red Faction", and then go back and watch "Total Recall".

I like the Memento style of a game, playing it backwards basically. Hopefully the new Scarface game wont be total garbage. But they need the following:
Friday - See how much you can smoke in a day
Killer Clowns from Outer Space - ANything would be money with this
The Crow - dont need to say much on this
Tron 2.0

I can see it now cuting up that old black knight.
