Are all TRS-80 games really worth only $2 each as the online guide seems to indicate or is that just due to the fact that nobody's really researched this area?

TRS has almost no fanbase, so they are practically worthless. What doesn't help is that most of them suck, there are a few true gaming grails to be had which can get expensive if they ever turn up again.

Perfectly correct.
Believe it or not (you'll probably believe it), I collect TRS-80 carts. I built up a substantial library in very short time because no one seems to want them. Well, I kinda understand that too. Put these in the same category as RCA Studio II or Channel F gemas - there aren't nearly as many of them out there as the favored system of that era, nor are there an equivalent number of people interested.
For the record, when you see actual values, we HAVE researched. Unresearched titles will always have zeroes in the dollar and rarity field.

I don't collect them, but I did keep an Arkanoid that I found once since I LOVE that game! Never got to play it on the Trash80 though...
