So, any thoughts? I have never heard of it. As I stated before, its over 200,000 yen ($200.00). I am tempted to tell my friend to snag it for me anyway.

I've never heard of it either. Based on the games shown in the pictures and the way the system looks, I'd say it's a really early 80s machine, but it's hard to say much more. It'd probably be nice as a collectors piece if you've got the money to spare, but finding games for it might be a little tough LOL

That's the Sord M5, apparently. Takara distributed it in Japan.

The sord has a small fanbase, and was covered in the European magazine Retro Gamer. I think I have an emulator for it, I don't believe I have roms for it, PM me as I may have a chance to give it a spin sometime sunday night or monday morning.
