I picked up a T-Stik Plus from Ultimarc to replace the joystick in my X-Arcade control panel. I basically wanted a joystick that I could switch from 8-4 way without taking the thing apart. The problem is that the T-Stik A.) doesn't fit in the same space the old joystick does. It does not have a square footprint, it is more like a rectangle. I can work around this, I guess, and drill some new holes. But problem B.) is that the connections on the micro switches are much larger than those on the X-Gaming stick and the connections on the end of the wires won't fit to the stick. Any ideas? Also, why is this? I am assuming that they use different connections in the UK, where Ultimarc is located.
