In the future, I would love to put together a MAME cabinet. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a relatively inexpensive USB joystick that is compatible with games like Guerrilla War, Ikari Warriors, Victory Road, Heavy Barrel, etc.

You know, games that require you to twist the joystick for aiming?

Thanks in advance!

You are talking about rotary joysticks. I suppose you could build your own control panel and incorporate a rotary joystick, such as this one:

You can also have a company like Slikstik customize a unit and include rotary joysticks. They do offer this as an upgrade:

I don't believe there is an inexpensive way to go about doing this. The Slikstick with rotary joysticks will cost you about $680, but you are getting a sick ass control panel that also includes a 3" trackball, dedicated 4-way joystick, 7-button layout and is all arcade quality.
