Hey gang!

Well, the new DP Mystery Sound Contest is up and running! Visit the DP Mystery Sound Contest Page (http://www.digitpress.com/mystery/), listen to the clip, and see if you can ID what videogame the sample is taken from! This month's prize: a Turbo board game by Milton Bradley!

No more softball soundclips though! (But I guarantee that many of you have this game in your collection!) Take a listen! Make a guess! Win a prize! Good luck!

I definitely recognize this music, too... but I can't quite get it this time. It's killing me!

Especially the last 4 seconds or so.... augh. It's definitely a less obscure month, guys. (Like last month). Especially if I have this game, considering my collection is only a bit over 300 games.

Man, it seems every secret sound contest sounds so familiar, but when it comes down to it I just cant remember to save my life. Same with this one, very familiar but still just not getting it :/

Its going to bother the hell outta me until the answer is revealed

I knew what it was right away...and I almost never get these. Must be a fluke or something.

Do I need to list the part of the game where the sound is heard, or just the title of the game itself?

(You don't need to identify the videogame system, as many games appeared on multiple platforms. Just the game name is all we want.)

The same goes for what "part" or "section" the sound comes from. I just need the game name. That's it.

Haha, I listened to this earlier yesterday, couldn't figure it out, and I didn't really think about it until during my evening class where it suddenly occured to me.

Earlier this month, I couldn't quite put my finger on it; it was driving me nuts... I got it right away this time, so thanks for the reminder, Sniderman!

Hey gang!

Well, at midnight last night, the correct entries were compiled and the winning entry was drawn. So, for those of you still trying to place your finger on it, here's this month's Mystery Sound Answer:

ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS

The clip is taken from Level One - Zombie Panic, though that wasn't needed for a correct entry. We had ** 46 ** correct entries (far fewer than last month's buhzillion correct entries) and many even knew what level the music came from! :eek 2:

And this month's winner of the Turbo board game is:
Chet Schadewaldt

Congrats Chet! And stay tuned! A new game will be underway soon!

Ah. makes sence now. For some reason in my head I thought that it was either some kind of Horror game (thats about how much horror you could get on the SNES) or a Simpsons game. I dont know why I figured that, but I did =P

Yeah, me too. I'm pretty sure it was those last six organ notes that went up and down... very horror-y.

Plus, I played the game... damn it! I knew it deep down. Oh well, it wasn't coming to the surface.
