Fake?

The case looks like it was home made. Most games would have some type of a write-up on the back, and a photo of the game. I really don't know if it is fake, but it does look home made. I think lots of people are thinking the same, because there is hardly any bids on it. And the seller sure did start it low for a "super rare" game.

Hmm...I might have to bid on this

Fake?

I'd say so. Plus, why is he hidding his feedback, what exactly doesn't he want us to know?

Thats odd, I'm sure he wasn't hiding his feedback earlier...

This is a pirate version - the real JP Tetris has completely different cover art and label to this.

It is true that there are only four or five copies of the original known to exist - and they can change hands for several thousand, easily.

However this ain't one of them. It is worth a moderate amount as a reasonably hard to find curio though.

I had one a while back, but sadly it didn't work.

Pirate, without a doubt. No way in hell would the official one (4 or 5 known copies) be sitting at £7.50 ;)

edit: beaten to it by Vroom ;)

Yep it's a pirate. Considering I've seen a real JPN MD Tetris, then I should be able to tell the difference ;)

Oh and the real one comes with a manual.

Anyone read RetroGamer? There's a pic of a real one used in my rare games article of issue #13.

Right, anyhow, I've seen this one before. Eh, I was thinking about it for a few minutes, then I...got better. :)
