This is the sequel to Mystaria AKA Blazing Heroes, right? I sure hope so, because I got it thinking that's what it is. If so, is there any difference between Riglord Saga 1 and the American versions, or is it just the same game in Japanese?

Yes, it's the sequel; no, I don't think there are any differences between the US and JP Riglord Saga 1 / Mystaria / Blazing Heroes other than the lanugage.

I wonder if any other game in history has had more names?
I think they should've called it something more appropriate:
"Blazing Heroes of Mystaria in Riglord Saga"
What would've been wrong with just calling it Riglord Saga?
That's the part that makes the least sense about this game!
