Just wondering, I've had "Fantasy Zone marquee" in my saved ebay searches for over a year now, and never had a single hit.
I've seen the PCB on eBay ocasionally, but never proof it was in the arcades here.

And with the KLOV and Arcade History not having any pics, I'm starting to wonder.

Has anyone ever seen a Fantasy Zone machine in the states?

and if so, can you describe it at all: Marquee, controll panel, side art?

I played it an an arcade, but the machine wasn't a dedicated cab. It was in a converted cab that *may* have been Shinobi at one time, but it wasn't a dedicated Shinobi to begin with.

The Japanese (?) flyer doesn't show a picture of an official cabinet either - even if it was only sold as a kit, you'd think that a marquee pic and/or side art would be out there somewhere...

That's interesting. I've never seen one. A lot of those old SMS games were apparently ports of arcade games. I know Quartet and Action Fighter were, but I've never seen or played the arcade versions. I assumed that they only existed in Japan.

I've seen cabs in an anime about arcade gaming if that counts at all, heh. But of course that would mean Japan and that's not really the question at hand....

I've never seen one unfortunetly.
